Neff Washing Machine not draining

Hey all , I bought a 2nd hand Neff Washing machine there recently and it was working fine at 1st but now its not draining out at all

Last night i got it working eventually but tonight it was having none of it , I looked up a few soloutions online , I emptied the filter on the bottom , But still the water wouldn't flow out of it , someone has said to put it on its back and disconnect the main pipe , That there might be a blockage there will this work ? I'm not exactly brilliant at these kind of things but im willing to give it a go ?

Tonight i had to unplug the machine and actually pour the water out the door of it

When you say 'main pipe', exactly which (input or output) pipe are you talking about? The exit pipe is usually a wide affair which isn't really capable of getting blocked since anything that could clog up the system will get caught earlier i.e. it will either clog up the input pipe (dirt in the feed) or will get caught by the fluff filter at the bottom (debris/buttons coming loose in the wash) that you've already checked.

Neff is an expensive model, any harm in asking why the previous owner was selling? For the kind of money that it cost, I'd expect that it's worth paying someone to take a look and see if it's worth repairing.

Re the Neff do the same as I told redser 7, don't lay it on its back, if it is completely empty lay it with soap box side to floor
