He didn't trust Lindegaard obviously or he'd have played him a bit... there was already talk of him leaving for first team football before LVG came in. He's young he's going to want to be playing week in week out.

Lindegaard is 30, so he's only 2 years younger than valdes. Valdes should really be looking for first team action to help rebuild his career.

Wonder how long Everton will hang on to Stones? Looks a top class defender in the making.

He's struggled to get into a poor Everton defense at times this season. He's a good prospect and there's a lot of hype surrounding him, but I cannot see any of the top teams coming in for him just yet.

Anything else to talk about? This Valdes thing is quite boring at this stage.
Would love a good solid transfer rumour to distract everyone.

Chelsea or Man City might stockpile him along with other top young talents, and loan back to Everton ?

He's only 20. There's not many 20 year old centre backs holding down a place in a top league.

He was injured for ages. It was actually against us at OT where he picked it up. Fairly sure he's been first choice when fully fit.

We've a really good run of fixtures between now and March.
Obviously tomorrow is a test but then we have
    QPR (A)
    Cambridge (A)
    Leicester (H)
    West Ham (A)
    Burnley (H)
    Swansea (A)
    Sunderland (H)

I'd be expecting at least 6/8 wins Including tomorrows game there to cement the top 4 and obviously keep the F.A cup hopes alive.

Few banana skins there. West Ham always seem to raise their game to a ridiculous level against us and Swansea away is always tough.

I'm not really bothered about the FA cup, never really felt an affinity to it because I think I missed the 'romance' years. I would take 4th over 5th and the FA cup.

But he can dare to McNair ...?

City draw gives us 7 points gap if we win tomorrow. Can you believe our "poor defense" has conceded the same amount of goals as City (20) and 1 off Chelsea (19).

A little nervy about the game tomorrow, nervy but not pessimistic, it's just getting tight around the 3rd-8th positions on the table with no room for error. Obviously a Southampton win tomorrow will see us drop to 4th.

Spurs are hot on our heels and a win for them this evening away to Palace will see them on 37 points, same as us but an inferior G.D. to ours.

Those we shouldn't speak of are now only 5 points below us, and Arsenal are on 33 with a semi-winnable game at home v Stoke tomorrow.

We need a win tomorrow, whether it's dogged or beautiful, 3 points are a must.

Ben Pearson first senior start for Barnsley, MOTM. Good start to the loan spell.

Zaha done very well for the second goal.

That's probably the only thing Zaha has done for us and he doesn't even play for us :P

    Nice one, Palace.

I never use absolutes, so it's telling when I say Man Utd will 100% destroy Southampton tomorrow.
    Easily 1-0, maybe even 2-1.

That Spurs result is great for us - beat Southampton now and we are in a very decent position.

I just dont see how Coleman will be an improvement on Raf. Im quite happy with Raf

I do agree that we do need another RB but I rather utd aim higher than Coleman

"We have built an image that we are invincible..."

There's being a negative nancy like Moyes was and then there's the other end of the scale.

Easy: Rafael does not play. He spends his time in and out of the physio.

Coleman plays which means Valencia does not. Sorted.

    Andrei Kanchelskis.

Not hard I guess but I hadn't seen sight of him in years! Speed merchant beyond compare at the time.

I reckon he's lost a yard or two of pace by the way he's squeezed into that suit.

Saw a PIC of Tomas Brolin today.

Wow. I know he not United related but he let himself go.
