Anyone know what the deal is with checking the VRT for vehicle brands not listed on the VRT website, I take it you have to give them a call?

I have heard them say they wont give a cost until you have the car infront of them at an NCTS center:(

600 seems decent. personally i'd go in around 800-850. really depends on the definition of "overly bad", would it go through another test?

Ya it should do, rust wasn't that major of an issue last time around (last October).

    +1

If it's not on the system it's more than likely a model / year that hasn't been imported before so it's literally pot luck.

    That's a joke.

There's lots of Bentleys and Maseratis dropping into €20k-€30k ranges now, would be interesting to see what they'd be looking VRT-wise.

Collecting my 328i exhaust today, much higher flowing than the 323 and a straight bolt on! One pipe takes 3 cylinders rather than all 6 being forced down one.
There's also two cats etc, should see the car rev way more freely from what I've read!

After that I'm giving it a service as I have a big trip to Leitrim this weekend!

Funny you say that. Didn't Voodoomelon proclaim his love of that Optima based on his love of the 7 series? :D

Are you not selling the 335 now?

I don't know what I'm doing with it but the discs need to be replaced either way.

Probably going to keep it now since things have gone the opposite way.

Sobanek, I recognized the top pic as a BMW straight away because of the eagle wing tail lights at the back, I guess you dont approve of the design?

Still need to order parts, but I'm thinking Bosche OEM discs (same are on the rear...) and EBC greenstuff pads. Oh baby. Also need to replace the fuel filter, but that will be Spring I reckon.

Just taxed m'golf 3 months for €190 and debating whether or not to tax m'nissan at 1494, or to declare off road and do the restoring I've been planning for a while!

STill have m'1.8 fiesta taxed till June aswell. I need to stop taxing cars

Like Alan mentioned for the rear bumper you have to take it off to access the two in the center, the two on the sides can just be pryed off as they're in a piece of trim, same for the front, they're all in the strips. Unfortunately for me 2 of the 3 I have to replace in the back are the ones in the center :P

Front will be a simple job. There's a grounding error I have to fix for them too, I think there's a cut wire somewhere in the front or back.
