Like when Suarez signed a new contract at Liverpool around this time last year....

Valdes coming in means DDG is on his way. It's only a matter of when tbh.

You don't seem to understand the difference between United and Liverpool..

We tend to hold onto players.

Another Liverpool supporter trying to tell us we're losing our keeper, you're not even original in the Man Utd thread.

It's amazing how what I have said echoes what plenty of Utd fans have said this evening about this move.

Yet I get pounced on & labelled just a bitter rival fan who is just hoping DDG leaves. Whereas they escape criticism/ridicule.

Classic. Good work lads. Keep it up.

You don't have to be a Liverpool fan to see that De Gea's days at United are numbered.

All of my Man Utd friends are under no illusions whatsoever and hope he does well at Real Madrid.

United fans were told to calm down and stop spoofing when they brought the same thing up. Read The thread and keep your "good work lads" BS to yourself x

Good to see Blind back training!

Good to see the players training kit numbers = squad numbers

    Never understood why they differed.

I'd get rid. He's been playing in midfield but is classed as forward so everytime he scores he only gets 4 points instead of 5 like midfielders do also doesn't pick up clean sheets points like other midfielders.

Ya, I'm lurking towards that alright.

Only problem I will have no United player then.

Might try get Di Maria once he is fully fit.

I have him too but I'm in an awful way lately - free-falling in our own pay league... No luck at all.

Basically what ever I do .. Do the exact opposite and fast!

    Oh the bitterness

De Gea must be better than we give him credit for guys, I haven't seen Liverpool fans salivating like this since Ronaldo's departure

Hopefully, fingers crossed, he stays but sure we won a few league titles after Ronaldo left so it's not the end of the world if he does

My loyalty to Rooney prevented me from ptentially 100 points in the last gameweek. Had him as captain and drafted in Harry Kane, who combined with Chadli to rack up the points vs Chelsea. Although to be fair, it was a strange result and I probably wouldn't have put either of them captain considering they were playing the league leaders.

Might give Di Maria the arm-band this weekend

It's an indication of the poor quality of this thread how difficult it is for rival fans to take part in any discussion. I'm not saying that there aren't good posters in the thread, a fair number of the regulars are sound and sensible. But there's a depressing number of posters who aren't interested in intelligent debate.

The thread would be a whole lot better if we had more posts from genuine posters who are rival fans - like Alan, Rarnes, SlickRic, etc - but given the idiotic reactions rival fans so often get, it's no surprise they generally steer clear. So the only non-United fans we're left with are the trolls.

In fairness to Al and Slick, they're very different posters. Al is often received that way in the Pool thread too because his views are very definitive and often divisive. It's the way that his views are positioned that elicits that kind of reaction. And I think he loves it ;)

Our next seven league games. All winable imo, West ham & Swansea away are tough but I would love to see us get 21 points. Sadly there will probaly be a couple of draws and maybe a loss in there

    Southampton (h)
    QPR (a)
    Leicster (h)
    West Ham (a)
    Burnely (h)
    Swansea (a)
    Sunderland (h)

Who you think are genuine posters aren't necessarily who others think are in any way genuine.

I think people need to toughen up tbh. Slick is great, but so are the more divisive types, as long as they're genuine.
