    Considering there is at least 15 aircraft coming near dublin, it would be stupid not to divert, especially if most of them will not land on their first attempt. Its stupid and probably dangerous.

    aer lingus retro not even attempting to land a 2nd time, going to shannon.

    i dont think ive seen it like this in many a year and the last time it was like this, i was on one of the planes and ended up in Belfast.

    This reminds me of the high winds back in Feb.

    I always said then (as a pax) that I would never be afraid of wind on landing ever again.

    The skill of the pilots, and their willingness to divert when it was too much, i.e. over their tolerance level (around 40 wind speed I think?), reassured me.

    I'm only a passenger, but I will never go to bed at this stage, with FR24 and live ATC on now.

    Safe landings to all.

    Messy how? Which map style are you using?

    Go to Settings - Map style and try a different one.
