Adapting eircom wifi router for Chromecast

    Spoke to Eircom who advised me to talk to Google

    Sadly, their trouble-shooting page is a confusing mess.

    Anyone here had similar problems and knows what to do?

    All help gratefully received!

    Set Firewall to low and try again. Which router is it? Most of Eircoms require you to go to http://192.168.1.254 (password is broadband1). Firewall is usually under NAT.

    Some routers also have the password on a sticker under the modem, rather than broadband1
