like an M6 bolt but not

I'm trying to put my babies cot back together, its missing 4 bolts. They are the same thickness as M6 bolts but the thread seems to be wider? any ideas what they might be? they are 65mm long with a round head that take allen key

EDIT: Oops, saw this is 50mm, not 65mm.

Does the bolt screw into a metal cross dowel or directly into the wood (the latter would have a coarse thread akin to a wood screw)

its kinda like this one only brass and definatly not M6 but its as wide as a M6

If it's a coarser thread than M6, I'd say it's 1/4" x 2 1/2" unc (imperial thread-unified coarse)

If there are 20 tips of the thread in a inch, then deffo above.

Class, that's what it is so, now anyone know where I could pick 4 up in Dublin at least 65mm long?

Hi Rothal
I see you found bolt type you need. If however you cannot find them a 65mm gutter bolt will do the job only it has to be screwed in.

If you can swap out the nut/female thread, do that and get your M6x65. Much easier.
If not ring around places like Freeney/Tuck, AEF, Dublin Bolt and nut (Engrs/fastener suppliers) etc and ask for the size mentioned.

Prob won't have the wide allen skt head but may have hex head or standard socket head cap screw (black or zinc plated)

This place should have them http://www.centuryfasteners.ie/

Don't waste time in hardware shops, big or small.
