Engine oil in coolant

Saab 93 with engine oil in the coolant bottle but no coolant in the sump.There is a lot of oil in there.Is there any other way for oil to get in there besides a faulty head gasket? thanks in advance.

Usual suspect would be an oil cooler if it has one you could try bypassing it and flushing the cooling system.
