How to use Creative Commons images

I've taken a single image from Wikipedia recently for a non-commercial blog post, one that was labelled for reuse under Creative Commons as long as it was properly attributed. So I embedded a url to the Wikipedia location and placed "CC by 'XXX'" onto the image itself. Am I right in thinking that that's enough?

Here's an example of the type of image I used. How should it be attributed?

I would think "Photo by Dave Hogg" would be sufficient.
