Not officially. You can get it via the unblock-us method relatively easily though.
Is that still the best way, using unblock us? Have held off till now hoping for an official launch over here but I'm running out of patience.

It sure it. Will cost around 11euro a month but it'd also give us access to loads of different services around the world

Yes and the price £9.99 for uk and €12.99 for Ireland so we get shafted as usual

I guess I will be staying with the US version(and billing) of the Network so!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,061 ✭✭✭leggo

Yeah I've had it for the past nine months for about €7... :pac:

Fcuk it! I'll pay the €13 and happily do it! Been waiting ages and I'm delighted to hear we're not getting the Canadian version! I'll spend a lot of time watching now whenever I'm free!

US Network + UnblockUs.com works out at roughly €12.80 and that's with the € dying on it's arse against the $, figure I'll be sticking with that

So should Irish people sign up to the network now, so later on they won't need a proxy, and be on $9.99 instead of €12.99?

Yeah but from the 19th we can turn it off as it will available to watch without using anything.

how come we have to still pay 9.99 in pounds and not the equivalant price in dollars?

the uk and ireland fans are getting ripped off again

I'll stick with the US version too. Unblock US is only a few quid per month. With that being said, I hear Netflix are beginning to crack down on VPNs to access alternative country content

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 393 ✭✭Its Only Ray Parlour

The US version of Netflix is cheaper and has more content, so getting US-unblock is a no-brainer if you use both.

    At last...

at least i'll be able to stream on my xbox and android tablet now.

First question I have about this is if it is a service separate to the worldwide one because if not and they're finally removing the geoblocking for Ireland/Britain then what is stopping us using the US sub without unblockus?

I don't think there will be any thing stopping people from doing that.

    $9.99

I say that as the last time it was supposed to launch they turned off the geo blocking for a few hours before it all went arse ways and it worked fine for me.

Hope this brings us closer to a PPV event based in this region.

Yep. They turned off the geoblocking a few hours before it was due to launch and then blocked it again about 30-45mins before the launch time.

I doubt it'll be as simple as turning off the geo blocking ? Surely they have that angle covered
