I've been messing around with Simple Planes non stop since I downloaded it.

Its a game that let's you design and fly your own planes, you can also modify /tweak existing planes, download other planes designed by other users.

It has simple tutorials in game, and also a few missions to complete from planes already designed.

Getting a few of your ridiculously looking planes in the air is good fun, I like to go from two extremes (as small as I can build, to absolute monsters) and get them airborne and land on the runway again.

Not a serious flight sim, but really, really good fun.

That Chinatown Wars wasn't what I expected. It seemed to be like one of the old 2D games, though I didn't play long as I wanted my refund.

I strongly recommend you reconsider. It's a brilliant game. I got more fun out it than I did San Andreas and IV.

Dunno Jimmy, I just spotted it yesterday, no idea how long it has been there though.

I'm currently zooming my own little built from scratch jet around an island.

    Excellent app.

Leo's fortune: Has anyone been past the second set of spinning wheels of level 15!
Edit: Managed to complete the level, with allot of deaths!

I have 3 stars in all the first 5 levels!
    Repeated play to get them.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath has anyone been able to defeat Boils Booty?
That sure is one tough challenge!
Edit: Just make sure you have loads of boombats and thudslugs! Then the challenge is allot easier!

Remember the raft of free amazon coins that some of us availed of earlier in the year, 26 pounds worth I believe?
Well they expire tomorrow night at 12 so get buying if you still have them and there's anything you're interested in on the amazon app store.
    Any recommendations welcome too.

Maybe I'm missing something very obvious but I can't seem to redeem these at all. I saw the simplyplanes app that was mentioned on here and went on to the amazon uk website and got it but it used my card from my one click settings instead of the coins from my account. Got onto amazon support and they got back to me and said purchases made through the app would use the coins as default payment, and that he'd refund the card so I could buy it again using the coin balance. Went looking on the appstore app this morning , saw another paid app and bought it but it used the card again. I changed my one click address to the parcel motel one up north just incase it was an Ireland / UK thing. Looking back at my orders Ive redeemed them before to get GTA in that offer but I've no idea what I would have done to make it work :o

Do you actually have coins? The ones mentioned by _Whimsical_ expired on New Years Eve.

They didn't. I spent most of mine thinking that they would but the ones I didn’t spend are still in my account.

Got it sorted. Yeah I had ~2700 coins from last may. I had to change my location from Ireland to the UK in Amazon settings and then the option to buy using one click or buy using coins appeared instead of jusy the one click option.

Is there any App that you can download a map of a particular city if you were on holidays and then add placemarks before you go? I have Co-pilot but can't seem to any to that which is a shame. Would be looking for something that you can use without having to go online if possible.

    I love this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.suvi.autoconlite
Turns WiFi/3g on automatically when your screen comes on or goes off.

Looks promising. Even if it saves a little bit of battery life, it will be worth it.

Google Maps Offline does this very well, it's what I recently used for a trip to Oslo.

Enter the name of the city you are looking for in Google Maps -> Click on the bottom menu/drawer that pops up when the city has been presented -> in the top right corner click on the three dots which offers you an option to "Save Offline Map" -> Zoom the are to the max allowed -> Click save.

I have a Rooted android phone.

Anyone know what is the best app to block ads on android please? Is adblock the one to get?

What is the best proven method to install apps directly to the SD card by default :) I don't want to have to move them manually:pac:

    Cheers in advance!

Adaway is great for blocking adds.

There's an Xposed Framework module called XinternalSD that should be able to install your apps to the SD.

Its hard to recommend an end all app for android as the hardware is so varied but its worth a shot.

    Xposed is useful anyways

Lads looking for some advice here. Is there any reliable android apps that allow you to mirror/distance view someone elses tablet/phone with their consent? Want to do a bit of tuition by distance but need to see what the person is doing on their tablet as well as showing them mine. Any help appreciated.
