Ei-DYD being used on the LTN-KIR run. Looks like the replacement is based in LTN.

And the original faulty aircraft is based in DUB http://www.flightradar24.com/reg/ei-dwv

Who handled the aircraft? That may lead you to who was on it.

Fascinating to see them. From the timing they should arrive around the same time

Yeah ATC did the regular thing of trying to get someone away before the next lander, didn't make it this time

I'm tempted to make a smart remark about this being behaviour more typical of some BA flyers but I think we'll let bygones be bygones :p

Nah it wasn't Emirates fault at all, just one of those things (I wouldn't really place the blame on ATC either)

I've made a very unusual observation on FR this morning. An aircraft flying as FR2 from STN-SNN. It appears to be a Ryanair Lear jet.

Had a nice view of EI110 JFK-SNN flying by my house this morning. That is EI110s third last flight until march;).

Visibility is amazing this morning. Perfect for plane spotting, despite me being several miles away from shannon.

Just watching helicopters leaving Aberdeen. They look like ants on my iPad screen. I believe that there is a ship missing somewhere off this coast or a bit further north

Aberdeen Airport is also the main heliport for the oil & gas rigs in the North Sea

One of the two jets they use to transport maintenance staff to where they need to be, in this case SNN for some kind of tech issue with a Ryanair aircraft I'm assuming.
