    Hi I'm looking for someone in the South Dublin area who can convert cassette tape to CD/mp3?

    Your best bet is to buy a cassette adaptor off eBay.

    TBH I don't have a cassette player nor do I know anyone with one.

    Ok I've tried this and it's just not working out....does anyone know who can transfer a cassette to mp3 in the Dublin area? Kind of urgent.

    If you can get a hold of an old cassette walkman (check charity shops) you can run it through the souncard on your PC and capture the tracks with Audio software, I use wavelabs but AFAIK Audacity is free and will do the same job

    Crystal Media in Sandycove do exactly what you want - look up their website (I can't post links). Has VHS tapes converted to digital for Christmas and a very good job done.
