Interesting comments at 44 minutes from the Captain of the importance of Irish ships on the Irish seas being crewed by Irish and flagged as Irish, that all changed shortly afterwards.

Said it used 70 tons of fuel a day costing $7000, any ideas how much that fuel would cost today?
