I actually managed to solo the first part with my Warlock and my hunter using the exploding lamp technique .... works pretty well!

Hi guys, thanks for the invite into the raid. I'd never done it before. Couldn't mic up but I was starting to get it when bungee/UPC kicked me out. So anyway appreciate the invite hope I helped a little.

...just hit level 30!! Woo hoo. Big landmark in my head. Means nothing really but it took a little while.

To a point. I got kicked out fairly quickly unfortunately.

Hadn't a clue what I was at and tried to take instructions but not being mic'd up really doesn't help.

Anyway level 30 now. Invincible!!

Destiny acting up on me now, cant get into servers at all. I was playing earlier.......ffs! My PSN is also gone done now.......cant hack this **** I really cant.

In exactly the same situation right now, sorry I logged out. Tried switching the MTU and back again but still no joy. Everything in down for me, the app, bungie & psn

PSN is down again

At least Iwas able to play for a few hours this morning, I was hoping I would reach 24 before the end of the day but I am afraid that it will have to wait until I am done doing raids/nightfalls with my xbox one.

Seriously though it's not always like this. I've put in over 90 hours and the is only my second time encountering problems.

Not ideal but it'll pass.

Sadly, all my free Christmas time I was looking forward to putting into Destiny is now gone. I'm not at home at weekends so I'll never see Xur...

I dont want to sound negative but PSN have had several big outages in the past, If I remember correctly I wasnt able to connect for over 1 month a few years ago? got a few games out of it...

If I didnt have the 360 back then I would have been pretty upset with them

Yeah I hear ya. It's not good. A lot of people affected in particular those with only the one console.

Personally I just move to the next console if there's issues like these.

I played wii u most of Xmas and it had no issues but I understand not everyone can or wants to do that.

Back in the ps3 days I was an xbox 360 owner so this is my first time dealing with psn. It's definitely not in the same league as gold membership on 360 but as far as I can see its not as bad as it's made out to be. And don't get me wrong we all pay for the service and have expectations but for the most part it does work.

Again not ideal though I agree.

Well, I'd be a fairly well known Street Fighter 4 player in Ireland, and I can tell you PSN never stacks up to Live. For an extra lag sensitive game like USF4 it's absolutely brutal. Sony effectively lost the entire SF scene because we couldn't trust PSN, among other reasons.

This, however, takes the biscuit. I should have just brought my 360 instead with me for Christmas. Trying very hard not to become a ranting hater.

Asked a friend to help me in the Nightfall last week. Ok he says but I've already done it. Reward screen pops up with Hawkmoon. I'm absolutely delighted but realise what I got was 10 exotic shards and he was the one with the hawkmoon, having forgotten he hadn't done the NF with that character.

The one thing I've found about this game is everyone thinks they're unluckier than everyone else when it comes to drops. Everyone else is wrong 'cos that person is me. :rolleyes:

Got a legendary engram from a random chest on patrol. Turned into the Truth. Last year's 300 model. Exotic shard though.
