    Yep. I think this is spot on. I don't think that there was any chance of a normal relationship with her. I had no idea how to deal with it. We would walk into a bar and everyone would just stop and stare at her. I don't think I could have dealt with it long term. We passed a group of junkies on Dawson St. one night and one of them stopped rolling his joint and said, "Jaysus bud, what do you have to do to get a bird like that?" I just shrugged at him, because I had no idea. I was just out of my depth.

    No. In fairness to her she wouldn't come back to my home because of my daughter, so we always stayed out. I was convinced that she was a scammer. I used to be involved with a scambaiting collective so I am well used to them. But she was genuine. I was waiting for her to say that she needed money or for something else like that, but it never came. She was actually really nice and she totally checked out. I just fúcked it up.

    How did you mess it up?I was in a similar situation (Peruvian), dating site, drop dead gorgeous, thought it was a scam, until I finally took the plunge, we will be together two years in February. :)

    If she mails you with proper brz pt i.e. no slang or gibberish abbreviations...and uses the ~ etc, google will do a very good job of translating.

    No where near perfect, need a human for that, but it should maintain most of the context.

    I have been dating a drop dead gorgeous Brazilian model who is 11 years younger than me. She was also on the Sau Paulo volley ball team and dated the richest men in Brazil but she decided that she wanted me, a middle aged, Irish IT worker - is that so hard to believe? :-)

    Google translate is a bit of a disaster as a lot of the subtleties get lost. I ran her recent email through Google, Bing and Babylon to make sure I knew what she was saying. She seems to think that I will get back with my ex (my daughter's mother - and that is another very long story). She's a bit obsessed with my daughter's blonde hair and blue eyes and maybe had a bit of an inferiority complex about this. She got in a strop when I "liked" a picture of a girl friend of mine who is blonde with blue eyes. She must have no mirrors in her house if she is remotely threatened by anyone. She is seriously the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on. There's definite warning signs that she will be huge trouble, but I just can't seem to shake her from my mind. She is not only incredible looking with an ass that you could bounce two euro coins off - she has a smile that would melt you. I am completely smitten.
