Didn't realise she played Dublin this year? What type set was it? I saw her for a third time not so long ago. Each performance has been completely unique and amazing in it's own way but this years was by far my favourite performance.

Was just her with a guitar and a piano. No accompanying musicians or backing singers. She occasionally stumbled over her words, started off playing one song and then switched to another, had little breakdowns (started talking about the Israel/Palestine situation a few times) etc. but her voice was spectacular and she had some good (if slightly awkward) banter with the crowd.

Setlist wise, songs from Moon Pix, You Are Free and The Greatest made up the majority of it with a few covers thrown in for good measure - she did a beautiful version of "What the World Needs Now is Love". And at the end of the set she threw flowers to the crowd and I caught one; dried it out and have it pressed in a heavy book. :D

Pretty sure there's a thread on it in the Gigs/Events forum if you wanna have a look for it?

Interesting, similar type setup/setlist to the the London date I was at much later in the year so. We didn't have the sound/furniture arranging issues but the rest sounds remarkably similar. Delighted I didn't read that thread in G/E before hand as I had no expectations going into the gig.

Hearing certain You Are Free tracks live was something I'd never thought I'd witness. We didn't get Metal Heart though and did get a barely recognisable Cherokee. She also decided to tell everybody she was pregnant, and how much she was getting paid for each show. One of the oddest, most uncomfortable yet spectacular shows I've ever witnessed.

Probably wandering off topic, but the only source for the whole "Aphex was born in Limerick" thing seems to be Wikipedia, where there is no source reference for the claim. Every article that claims he is "Irish-born" is referencing Wikipedia too.

I'm so out of the loop, I barely recognise any of these artists

What's the best 'guitar' album on that list?

I would say And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - IX.Given their history and experimental style they strike me as a sort of American Pink Floyd.
Sick of it all probably more suited to the metal forums but I like them.
Most of the albums and songs can be found on youtube.
