    Hi Guys,

I got a record player for Christmas and I am looking to add speakers to it.

The one I was given was the Steeoletone Chichester II

It has a red and white "line out" and a 3.5mm "sub out", but I am a little confused to what type of speakers to get?

I have done a tiny bit of looking around and have come across recommendations for the following:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/DTL-SUB-2-1-Speaker-System/dp/B00B2XENS4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

    and

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microlab-FC330-Model-System-Speaker/dp/B0040N3BQI/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t

The Microlab ones look really nice and have tonnes of great reviews, but I am not certain are they the right type to go with the record player, does anyone know will they work? (they have an red and white "audio input" but no seperate sub connection)

Reviews of the DTL ones mention people connecting them to same brand of record player so I'd imagine they work fine.

    Thanks!

Run with the microlabs, it's better designed for what you are looking for ( ie bass control )
as the 3.5 mm out of the steeple tone will produce ample bass. Adding a sub would be over kill paired with the microlab.
