How to address a married couple?

When posting a card to a married couple how should I address the envelope? Tradition suggests Mr and Mrs Joe Bloggs but what do you write when the woman has kept her surname and is using a double barrelled name? Mr and Mrs Joe Roche Bloggs doesn't make sense so what should I write and should a woman be offended when addressed wrongly?

The most appropriate mode of address would be to use their correct names. For instance; Mr. James Jones and Mrs. Jane Smith. If you are unsure whether a particular woman is married, Ms. is never incorrect and can be used to address married and single women.

I'm married and my wife kept her surname.

Our Christmas cards are mostly addressed to us by first name, i.e.:

John and Mary
123 Main Street
Co. Cork

If you're writing a card there's no need to be formal so that's the best way to do it, I think

Long story I won't go into, but owing to an accident in the delivery ward, I was born without one.
