What?? It's 153 euro? That's 196 gbp. Fx rate from yesterday is .78
Ok maybe they made a mistake? Maybe they meant pounds. That's 120 million euro if the 150 is pound

Bale is also clearly happy. Ronaldo loves utd, more than bale. He kinda spent a few years here.

There is no chance bale will be coming for over 100 million. No chance.
Stop reading click bait and giving gowls advertising money.

He doesn't love Utd any more than he does Madrid. He's the main man at the biggest club in the world winning trophies and breaking records left, right and centre. He's from Portugal, so same climate and similar language to Spain. Also Madrid won't sell Ronaldo. He's worth too much to them.

Bale would have grown up watching Utd, Ronaldo probably didn't.

Portuguese and Spanish are completely different. They also hate eachother.

Grew up watching them. Jaysus. Are you trying to say bale will be coming to utd? You read too many click bait articles if what players think and who they grew up watching. They both grew up watching the same teams I did. The Italian teams in the 90s, Madrid, utd.

Because he won't be, there is more chance of 'ronnie' coming home, of which there is none.

Although Portuguese and Spanish are closely related, to the point of having a considerable degree of mutual intelligibility, there are also important differences between them..

Yes, they're completely different. And saying they hate each other is like saying the Irish hate the English yet there's plenty of Irish over in England.

Angel Di Maria finishes second in La Liga's assists chart for 2014 (despite leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United this summer) Not bad ;)

    15 - Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
14 - Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid)
13 - Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

Michael Owen has said on BT that Liverpool should go for Pogba to replace Gerard,I thought they were nearly broke after King Kenny & Brendan pissing away over £300 million between them.
We are reticent to spending upwards of £70 million on bringing him back to United,I doubt Liverpool are in any position to match that fee.

I had the temerity to express the opinion that Leon Britton has been the best DM in the PL over the last few years, and so, better than Michael Carrick. That caused some posters to flip their lids.

I think people just took him up wrong and thought he said that Britton has been brilliant his whole career.

But he has been fairly solid for a few seasons. Wouldn't want him at utd though.

You're right in that Liverpool wouldn't spend that fee on one player but I also couldn't see Pogba joining a club that's had one (disastrous) season in the CL over the last 5 years and look very likely to miss out again next year.

If Pogba leaves Juve he'll have a host of top clubs to choose from.

Not many would take that position. You've got to admit that opinion is a fairly contrary one. And that you yourself have savaged people for having out there, unorthodox opinions in the past.

I think people just took the opportunity for a bit of comeuppance.

Nothing to see here on the whole "Leon" subject other than its a might fine film...

"Manchester are one step away from Kevin Strootman," Materazzi told Rai Sport.

"The British club will pay €40m (£32m) into the coffers of the Giallorossi."

So Strootman's agent seems keen on him moving in January.

I TOLD YOU ALL WE WOULD SIGN STROOTMAN BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF NEXT SEASON.

I'm just back off a ban and already in the know. Send the ladies to my room.

I've "savaged" people who argue their opinion in dishonest ways (like moving the goal posts, building straw men, etc) or people who are straight up trolls. It's got nothing to do with whether their opinion is unorthodox or not. In fact , in my experience, most of the posters who use these methods of arguing tend to express commonly held opinions.

I agree that leads to a lot of these people itching for retribution.

That's a bad argument as well as being one he has replied to half a dozen times.

Why not just let this one float away?

I don't think you can deride someone for having an uncommon opinion.
