No. The played well. Skrtel was very bad for both goals and will be gone next season.

Borini, Ballotelli, Johnson, Allen should be gone.

Cnn plays CB for Germany under 21 team. I wouldn't mind seen him in a back three. He has good feet. Sakho played well today other than the goal
Toure gave his all but time is not on his side
Flanagan can't come back soon enough
Widsom to come back from loan.
Markovic is a very very very good player.
Coutinho is too wasteful & he should be doing shooting lesson with Gerard after every training session.

Is skrtel the problem in the back line all the time? plenty of stats to back it up.

    1) Would like to see this too

    2) Have seen a good bit of Wisdom at WB this year, he will not improve Liverpool.

    3) Yes

A lot of positives today - Coutinho/Markovic/Lallana esp, and Lucas deserves a mention, playing well.
We played Arsenal off the park, anyone cant see that is deluded.

Gerrard all over the shop again.

Hendo been tripe most of the season yet walks into the team every week too.

Anyway, my roast chicken is done :)

If you offered me that before the game I would have taken it. The only thing that frustrated me was that so often when we hit them on a break with a good opportunity, we had no-one in the box. A ****ing chasm.

Rodgers really messed up the frontline.

Borini has been treated terribly by Rodgers. Borini signed a contract with Liverpool for X amount of years. Rodgers wanted to make a point to Borini by not even putting him in squads, instead he'd rather play no striker.

Fair enough Borini might not be good enough for Liverpool, but he was definitely deserving of playing games with the players in the team now. Rodgers is contributing to the plateauing of Borinis career so you can understand his frustration.

Borini showed he offers something, could have scored with the header. What did Lambert do? What has Balotelli done?

Oh boo hoo, the guy is stupid plain and simple. I couldn't give two shiney sh1tes who's right or wrong between him or Rodgers. He's paid to play for the club not the manager. He acted like a complete fool and let his team mates and the fans down by being sent off.

Rodgers has let the team and fans down by not playing Borini.

I thought that was a very good performance. Lallana was excellent & really leaves it all out there. Defensively apart from the goals we look improved. Sakho did well I thought. We had no outlet on the right with Henderson being very poor as was Gerrard. Lucas also played well as did Coutinho & Sterling but they needs to improve in the final third.
Rodgers set the team up very well as Arsenal couldn't get any sustained pressure in the game.

Rodgers said the pitch is awful? It bobbled a few times but I didn't see much else.

What does that have to do with Borini being stupidly sent off?

I don't see why Borini should give a **** on the pitch when his Liverpool career was finished weeks ago by Rodgers.

Easily offers more than Lambert. What did Lambert do today? What did Borini do? Borini had a shot on target at least in the few minutes he was on. Lambert couldn't even win a few headers from long balls.

Borini had a half hour to make a point and show what he can do.

He showed plenty of zip and movement but also showed petulance with his ott reaction in not receiving a throw in.

I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

Rodgers talking himself up in the interview, 'being creative as a coach to utilise best players', **** off. Saying we were better today than the same game last year. ****ing cringeworthy stuff.

I'd have him. But Rodgers trying to be the big man has ended Borinis career weeks and weeks ago.

Not going to get too down about this result. Usually a team improves as a whole when you're without your star players and that's shown today. We should be able to grind out a few wins before Sturridge is back fit, and then we should be a feared side again. Only negatives today were defensively, but when Brendan settles on a back four, we should improve there too.

    Now for pints.

The commentators on my American stream said the pitch looked awful early in the first half.

I think the stuff you come out with is just as cringy if I'm honest.

They are both poor and not good enough for Liverpool football club.

They are both Rodgers signings not committee signings.
