No idea yet :o Could be any one of RVP, Sanchez, Hazard or Austin yet. Bony might finally unleash his wrath on Hull too

villa have 3 suspensions and 4 injuries
if I had rvp I'd be captaining him
I may captain Rooney yet and keep fellaini rather than go -4 for yaya.......if I go -4 it will be to bring him in as captain
might just wait and see how they lineout this weekend first

Is Ben Davies likely to start for Spurs this weekend? I see rose was back for them last night.

Davies used to play league cup games and not start so I'm guessing he'll start this weekend. I've gambled on him anyway, upgraded from the dropped Liam Moore. At home to burnley makes it worth it I think! Not for a hit mind

I'm not sure why you have Tiote, he offers nothing and is a yellow card magnet. Bridcutt isn't guaranteed to play. I'd use transfer next week to upgrade one of those. How much have you in the bank?

Villa have conceded no more than 1 in their last 6. Hutton is suspended, along with Richardson i think. Vlaar is back. Lowton should deputize for Hutton. I wouldn't be overly confident of United attacking returns, though that said they have been putting away their chances despite not playing particularly well lately.

I will prob end up bringing in and captaining yaya anyway
that had been the long time plan so I'd kick myself if I didn't do it and he went crazy
however if kolorov was playing advanced .....

navas/nasri/milner/silva are all fit for City, kolarov as super sub is more likely i.m.o.

Sterling has come onto my radar for the first time this season and could still usurp Eriksen/Nasri/Silva but might be a GW too early for him. Certainly has the explosiveness though for the -4 to be warranted

1.8 in the bank! Yup there the next two too ship out, any suggestions

I'm heavily considering Fabregas instead of a Silva/Toure now. Toure's yellows and the afcon make me somewhat wary and I feel Silva might suffer without a good striker ahead of him to finish the chances he creates (though he could shine as a false 9 I don't expect it personally).

Whats the chances of Azpilicueta playing this weekend? For some reason he was left out last weekend.

I fear for Azpil & Clichy this week!!

Squad rotation cost me 6 pts last week ..

might ship Azpil & double up on city with Demichelis!

But that would be -4 hit!

Then again I City have 3 home of next 4 while Chelsea have 3 away!!

    Food for thought!!!

Mangala not a good choice? He's due a goal tbh too. 6.0

On 4 yellows. Impartial to the odd card. Rotation threat even with Kompany out. Hart is the best route to the City defence.

The Plan was Benteke/Bertrand out for Demichelis and RVP. But now I'm thinking of going for Zabaleta and Rooney instead.

With Zab, he's just a more exciting player to have in your team! He could easily chip in with a goal or assist in any game he plays, maybe even more so now that City are short up front. And even if he's rested over Chrimbo for a game, as a defender he's less likely to be brought on for an annoying 1 point cameo. His natural replacement, Sagna, might also be called upon centrally at some point over the next few GWs which might lessen the chance of him being rested.

With Rooney/RVP, my concern is that RVP's level of scoring over the last three games is clearly unsustainable and he's also, in my view, more likely to be rested over the Christmas games. Rooney's a more consistent points scorer and will score whether in midfield or up front.

    Decisions, decisions.

It is actually only the last 2 games for Van Persie. Nothing v Stoke. A long way still to go for him.

Edit - did well in the game before that v Hull though

Hmmmm I just realised I am 0.1m short of doing Siggy to Silva and Duff to Zabaleta for -4.
I could do Siggy to nasri and Duff to Zab or alternatively Siggy to Silva and Duff to Mangala/De Michelis.

I had been worried about fielding 3 defenders this weekend with Duff out and Hutton suspended but it seems like Chambers should play against Liverpool as Koscielny is still out (defence will be Baines, Wisdom, Chambers). Maybe I'll forget about the -4 hit and just do Siggy to Silva or does anyone think its worth -4 to get a city defender in?

Went with Forster -> Foster & Bertrand -> Clichy.

    Any word on Duff, folks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,264 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Doing Costa to RVP has left me without the funds to upgrade Bertrand to a City defender so just going to have to hold him until the Chelsea match and hope for the best.

    Need some help/advice:
    Hart | Elliott
    Baines | Terry | Naylor | Hutton | Yun
    Hazard | Sánchez | Siggy | Downing | Marney
    Costa | Benteke | Dzeko

I want to bring VP and dump Dzeko. To get the funds for this operation (-4 hit) Baines has to go (hat-trick against the saints?). That will leave me with 5.2 to bring in a defender. Question is… who?

    Debuchy (5.2) – Liverpool (A); QPR (H); West Ham (A); Southampton (A)
    Ben Davies (4.4) – Burnley (H); Leicester (A); MU (H); Chelsea (H)
    West Ham defender – Leicester (H); Chelsea (A); Arsenal (H); WBA (H)
