Coronation Street rating have hit a record low to 4.9 million viewers

    Finally Blackburn get him Out

In fairness, those figures were for the Sunday showing only which aired instead of Monday. Figures were back to normal again the following Wednesday.

Actually, I was quite interested by that. The Grandfather was staring out the back garden. The Grandmother who can't act to save her life was saying "No Shed" etc etc.....

From memory, when that house was bought by that dude from Brookside who owned the Kebab shop, didn't he have a huge shed out there that the son used to live in??

And Gary lived in for a brief period ??

    Tut Tut ! ;)

Wasn't that shed taken down and Owen dug out a pond. She was saying that he wasn't allowed a shed as it was a nice big garden to sit in.

That's who has bought the house.

    Kal's parents.

Kylie's ex Callum is quite good-looking,isn't he? Been a shortage in Corrie for ages, about time they addressed the problem! ;-)

It's awful lately. None of the characters have any likeable qualities. There's not one you could feel anything for. They are empty, shallow or just downright horrible.

What about David's love for his kids? Especially as one of them is not his by biological parentage. He retains a nasty streak (as we saw in his vendetta against Nick) but he has a very tender side to him too. And that combination makes for a really interesting character.

Also, what about Steve's struggle with depression? He used to be full of banter but know he's really downbeat. That's a great storyline.

And there are plenty of hearts of gold, such as Roy, Fiz, Tyrone, Chesney, Sinead, Kirk, Julie, Anna, Sean... the list goes on!

For the men it's a travesty that Katy is leaving. But Sarah-Lou will be back soon. And we have Alya on screen now. And Kylie too, of course. Also, they're not really my cup of tea, but I know that Michelle, Maria, Eva and Steph are popular with the lads. So Tina leaving wasn't the end of the world. There might well be more eye-candy for men at the moment!

It's the facial expressions that just kill me.

It's like she's trying to pipe one out every time she speaks. She's crocked over and showing plenty of tight mouth.

Terrible actor. I like Ayla and Zidane though.

I'm not enjoying it much lately. I hate the Steve storyline.. It's frustrating. repetitive and depressing to watch. I for one don't want to keep seeing it.

Yasmine's over acting and enthusiasm is tiresome even though she's probably a nice enough person. There's too much of their family in it imo.

I'm also sick of Kylie and her problems.

I disagree, I think Tina leaving was the end of the world, as much as it could be anyway. Her and Peter and her ducking under the table. It all went downhill since then. Katy is hot, but for me she's quite annoying how she talks. Kylie's face looks like it should be good-looking, but somehow she's not in any way sexy to me. Maria is very hot but she doesn't have the presence Tina had.

Erika a breath of fresh hair in Corrie god knows it needs it

Didn't like her intro, so bloody typical of female soap characters.....
feisty mate of one of soaps characters...... Check
picks herself up off the ground and gets on with life.... Check
Says it as she sees it..... Check
Will woo the lads...break hearts....sex the Street up........check
Will shake the Street to it's foundations when her 6 inch stillettos hit those famous polished cobbles....Check

We've heard it all before and then they just shape the character as they want to after a couple of weeks. The nicking the glass of wine in the Bistro was laughable, then getting a job straight away. I blame the writers here, not the actress.

Anyway, whats Nicks game ? Just getting the ride off Erika to annoy his mother ? That's hilarious.

I think this storyline for Steve is still warming up. I'm looking fwd to how it plays out myself!

Tina was one-of-a-kind, for sure. I agree that Kylie is not for everyone, but I can see the appeal myself. Maria is lacking some sort of X factor alright. I think the return of Sarah-Lou will shake things up.

A blast from the past Tina Dingle/Mrs Mike Baldwin (Jacqueline Pirie). I don't think the actress acts anymore which is a pity. I always liked her. I think she lives in Canada now.

Oh yes, I remember her in Corrie, she was a very good character.
