    At lunchtime I lost a small  Bank of Ireland branch card with my account and sort code numbers written on it (not my name I don’t think) – is there anything anyone can do with these numbers? I’m a bit worried about having my account cleared out. Can you reassure me?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

    If you haven't already done so, please call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365. Representative assisted hours are 8am - 12midnight Mon - Fri and 9am - 6pm Sat, Sun and Bank/Public Holidays.

    The representatives have procedures in place to help with this.

    Thanks, just called them. Hopefully it'll be grand but I need to stop being so clumsy with important info like that!
