What were your favourite gameshow's of the 1990's?

On the school holidays during the summer there was loads of them on in the morning. Was quite fond of going for gold and the American card game, it's name escapes me.

They're all still on the Challenge channel.
    Going for Gold.
    Fort Boyard.
    Crystal Maze.
Even early episodes of nine out of ten cats.

    Supermarket sweep.
Every time I'm pushing the trolley around Aldi, I secretly dream of doing all my shopping under 3mins... lashing in turkeys, and other high value items...

A great ad for aldi would be a supermarket sweep type gameshow, but everyone always failing to get high scores in the final sweep because it's all so good value :D

    Classic concentration.
    Catchphrase.
    Crystal Maze.

Special mention to the Krypton Factor, always wanted to do the flight simulator and assault course.

also loved Bullseye - watched an episode of it recently on Challenge! oh and gladiators - although that doesn't fall under the 'gameshow' category I still loved it!

Big break was always entertaining, even with Jim Davidson hosting the big racist.

Had completely forgotten about that one. It seems so quaint in hindsight.

Just watch Challenge TV. They have them all - 80s Bullesye, 90s Supermarket Sweep, The Crystal Maze, etc.

I witnessed a real life supermarket sweep in a branch of a certain "Flying hero man concerned about valu for money" store. A bit of a fix really. The manager made sure to steer the contest winner away from the areas where the most expensive stuff was, booze, meat etc and had staff strategically placed to act as barriers as well as a photographer who somehow managed to keep getting in the way and so slowed her down.

Even as a kid I never like supermarket sweep because it didn't make sense.

If you were really trying to get the most money you would stay down one Isle probably the cosmetics Isle where there are lots of small more expensive items and fit loads in the trolley.

Obviously for the sake of the game contestants were told the could only get a couple of items per Isle but that always annoyed me about that show.

Used to run home from school to watch it eating homemade pancakes with rhubarb jam, Willie G was a legend.

It's made a comeback with Sandi Tosqvig, questions still as hard as ever, it's great.

Going for gold still the best theme tune though

The heat is on, the time is right. . . .

    "TOPTOPTOPTOP...MIDDLE!!!"

Shame about the swimming pool incident
