glendalough is a bit of a trek for you from balbriggan; and bear in mind that this time of year, the sun is so low in the sky that even if you get a sunny day, you may not get much light reaching the valley floors in the wicklow mountains.

From balbriggan, less than 20/30 mins drive

Ardgillan Castle, Newbridge Desmense, Malahide Castle, Grounds of Gormanston College

    Beaches all along the coast

Many castles in Boyne Vally as well as Knowth, Dowth and Newgrange

    Monasterboice

St Peters Cathedral in Drogheda (St oliver plunketts shrivelled head!!)

Dublin along the Liffey and Grand Canal Dock are super locations for night photography

Phoenix Park if you can is spectacular. Stephen's Green similarly.
And if you're into Architectural shots, go to Ballsbridge or somewhere like that, Georgian Houses there are amazing!
