How to check if website is legit

    I am looking at a UK website ,is quick way to see if this site is legit,

    Search for it on VirusTotal and see how it's scored, you can also use Brightcloud.

    Look for contact information including an address and phone number. If they've no address listed anywhere, don't buy from them.

    Apart from the above, always use PayPal with any websites that are not well known (Amazon & Littlewoods for example is safe), and make sure the link processing the payment when you're logging into PayPal has PayPal.com in the address bar with https at the start with the closed padlock. Be wary of phishing, especially when using websites that might not appear to be genuine.
