Earliest Christmas Eve midnight mass in Dublin?

I'm asking on behalf of a friend, but does anybody know where offers the earliest Christmas Eve "Midnight Mass" in Dublin?

I know the local church has it at 9pm, which is a bit late for himself and the family, especially as the priest goes on and on!

I've heard of some churches doing a family mass at 6:30pm on Christmas Eve but would that be the same service as Christmas mass?

Yes, any Vigil after 5pm on a Christmas Eve is a Solemn Vigil. Although, imho early Masses tend to be packed with kids and manic. I's say go for a slightly later Mass (7.30pm) and maybe one that isn't being advertised as a Family Mass.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know of any such masses in Dublin?
