Acer Aspire E1-570 Screen Problem

Hi all, havin problems with my daughters laptop, the screen works on occasion, blank the rest of the time.

The relevant info:
1. Opened it up, checked cable was secure, all good.
2. Connected to external display, works perfect, so not the video card.
3. When i shine a light into it i can vaguely see the desktop icons etc.
4. Warranty is up, acer gave me the spend a fortune and let us do it routine.

So essentially i believe i need a new inverter??
If so, where the hell can i get one, i cant seem to find any online.
Screens abound, go for about 70quid new, dunno if they are OEM or not.

Also does the inverter come as part of these screens??
