Was alcohol involved when meeting your current partner?

Just curious with some of the other threads here. Were you half cut when you met your partner on a night out, or was it something else?

I've known him about ten years so couldn't say for sure if alcohol was involved when we met, but there was definitely a lot of dutch courage required the night I cross-eyedly roared at him "I've always liked you you know" and lobbed the gob. Vaguely remember falling into a bush on the way home too. Oh well, it all worked out in the end.

Tea! If you are out and want to bring a girl home, I'm guessing she is drunk enough at that stage so don't offer her more alcohol. Offer her tea and a movie. No one will say no that, of she does say to have beer.

No self respecting girl will turn down tea and a Disney movie at 4 in the morning after sipping on bad decision juice for the evening. Then lob the gob and stick it inside her

Yes. We were both so drunk we both have literally no memory of our conversation. But witnesses state that we were in fits of laughter.

Haven't looked back since. :-)

Met at a friends wedding,she was the stylist for the wedding...both of us hazily viewed each other over a packed banquet hall..both of us were as drunk as skunks before we got talking..and the rest is history..15 years ago now...

Nope. He worked right next to my workplace, and we always got the same bus in and out. We live around the corner from each other but our paths had never crossed because he's several years older than me.

He started buying the ecigs I was selling, even though he never used them, and eventually we got chatting, hooked up, and are very happy together.

Yup, openly drunk and drugged out of it meeting for a coffee in the middle of the day, she was very sober and I kept apologising about it. She said it was very cute.

Based on my track record, I have to be either the drunker party or delirious with a flu.

Yes. We met at a night club and partied till 6am. We were shît faced by the end of the night.

Then we met up again the next day to do it all again. 14 years later… we've been married for 12 years.
