Attempted robbery caught on CCTV, should I report it?

Hi Folks,

Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but when I was playing back my CCTV recording I noticed a guy trying to open our locked cars that was parked in the driveway early yesterday morning (around 2.22am). Thankfully as it was locked he never tried to break into it but reviewing other cameras he seem to be trying this on few cars in our estate, but thankfully doesn't seem to be very lucky.. Should I report this to the Gardai or not since nothing was taken ?

Yes you definitely should. If you don't report then definitely nothing will be done. However if you do report it at least it is recorded and there is more justification to send a patrol car to the area more often.
