Need to ship Mané. Considering Downing, Henderson or Fellaini. Does MF look like recapturing his goal scoring form of two years back?
He's been getting 2/3 good chances ever game recently. Begovic got lucky to deny him a second Tuesday night. He's a different threat to the one with Everton a few years back, probably won't get many assists, but always a goal threat with his height.

Was involved in a clash of heads, played on till HT (bout 15mns), but nearly cost them a goal when he slipped and let Kane in.

Should be fine for the weekend.

I had Azpi last year and he was a little cracker for me, including a glorious assist on the last day of the season to seal my big finish.

Somebody is gonna be pissed on on the 28th I'd say, just a matter of guessing it right.

I reckon the change in the Chelsea back 4 will be on the 26th wham at home southampton away is the 28th. Thinking about it big Sam will park the bus and could play carroll ideal for Terry and Luis a more attacking option than azpil for lb. I really don't see Terry getting rested azpil mightnt either but I'd be far more confident of Terry playing. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea make any changes sat bar costa as it's a quick turnaround. Willian oscar and azpil most vulnerable in that order imo.

I wouldn't take out austin this week playing against his old team. Looking at your team above I'd just make a defensive switch maybe get in hutton or a wham defender . Just read your post again ye getting in azpil is a good move I do think he will miss at least 1 league this month though.

I was originally looking at Cahill but the masses here are going with Azpil. He gets more bonus than Cahill and Terry so I'll take the risk that he'll miss a game over Xmas.

What about a hit to bring in another defender that plays (Hutton for Duff)?

Terry or Dave, that is the question?

I'll be bringing one of them in this week for Clyne.

I was leaning towards Dave as he was 0.3 cheaper but then I let his price rise go and now for 0.2 Terry probably worth it. I know most people expect Terry to be the undroppable over Xmas. Anyone know why Cahill came off last night?

Regarding my other problem, I think I'll just have to risk keeping RVP for Southampton v United and take a chance on Costa destroying Newcastle. Not worth the -4.

Cahill had a clash of heads in the first half and was the worse for wear, possibly related to that.

    Clyne and Milner out.

    Cissoko and Eriksen in.

Both bought to provide instant returns as on the last 3gws of a mini league.

I'd be more concerned with Luis getting gametime over Xmas. I'm not sure what way it would go tbh, as Azpi is Joses favourite son, but he has a stand in in Luis. While Terry in knocking on a bit but is the leader and organiser.

Its possible Terry could be rested with a back four of Azpi, Ivan, Cahill, Luis too.

I had this same decision last game week between Terry and Azpi. I went with Terry. However, very much a 50/50 call. I would have expected Azpi to have lost his place to Luis a month or two into the season when Luis signed but he really seems to be a favourite of Mourinho and to be fair he is playing excellent. I would not have expected him to contribute in an attacking sense but again he has proved me wrong.

I have accepted Terry will be rested at some point but it was his overall goal threat that swung it. I guess he has also served me very well in past seasons and that may have (incorrectly)swayed my decision too.

Ye at the end of the day it's only 1 game if azpil misses out. Hutton for duff is probably worth a - 4 as you have a good chance of a CS this week and he has decent fixtures and you will play him more than duff going forward.

Ings to Kane for me. Thanks for the 14 pts in 2 weeks Danny ill see you in the new year.

Thats a good thought actually. Danny has a favourable fixture this weekend, but after that, it gets nightmarish over the crimbo.

I'll have to think about whether I get rid now, or wait till after QPR

Thanks. Exactly what I was thinking myself. Just very indecisive now about my decision making - need to steady the ship and make sure I make the right choices. No more room for error.
Duff is going down tomorrow night and isn't even guaranteed fit for the weekend coming. I'm going to take the 4 point hit.

    Looks like Rooney to Costa

Did Naylor to Hutton as it frees up a bit of cash and Villa have decent Xmas fixtures (also hadn't got enough defenders for the weekend).

Will do Rooney to Costa for a hit if the former is confirmed out for Monday (might be worth it anyway?)

    Haha good one :D.
Sanchez is worth it imo. I think he will be the highest scoring mid. Will get close to 20 league goals and is someone I'd be comfortable captaining. He is basically a goal every 2 games player something none of the other mids are.
I fully agree. Thing is his big price tag and Arsenal packed midfield tend to overshadow the fact he basically is an attacker and generally OOP players are great value in the game.

His team mates call him Dave due to their inability to say his name. Tbh John Terry would have called him worse if he was allowed come up with a nick name!

    Team currently..

    Guzan
    Chambers Terry Widsom
    Siggy Sanchez Hazard Tadic
    Aguero Costa Austin

    Hamer Boyd Duff Moore

Looks like Duff is going to drop tomorrow but think moving Tadic on is a bigger priority.

    Thinking Tadic out Eriksen in.

Yeah I got that but was wondering why Dave (I mean why not another name)... especially since Cesar is not that difficult to pronounce. I guess the edited link I posted above is part of the explanation. And/or must be a native-english speaker thing...

I don't see any transfers this week so think i will bank the transfer.

Possibly Forster out for someone but Southampton could easily keep a CS at home against UTD and they have a few decent fixtures coming up again after this weekend.

£3.7mil in the bank so money isn't an issue. Current team
    Forster

    Azpil - Chambers - Wisdom

    Fabregas - Sanchez - Sigurddson - Downing

    Costa - Austin - Auguero

    Subs: Elliot, Boyd, Dummett. NTaylor

@SpaceCowboy: Aren't you tempted by Hazard? A bit of a side move but could be the right time to bank in the profit made on Fab.

Nah i'm more than happy with Fabregas and reckon he will be on level par with Hazard if not higher come the end of the season! Mr Consistency for me all the way... well until i see Hazard beginning to run away with things

    Fabianski
    Jagielka - Chambers - Moore
    Fab - Sanchez - Siggy - Tadic
    Aguero - Bony - Austin

    4.4 in the bank.

Just shipped Tadic for Eriksen. Only question is whether I should take the 4 point hit and get Costa back in for Bony .. :/

I'm considering Fabregas to Eriksen on a 4 week punt.

People who know more about Eriksen. How would that seem to you ?

    Eriksen has

    Palace (H)
    Swansea (A)
    Burnley (H)
    Leicester (A)

I'm planning on going for Eriksen. He's a quality player that takes set pieces and Spurs have stuck Kane up front, who's a big lad, so there should be plenty of opportunity for assists from set pieces or even goals when Kane holds the ball up. Eriksen did have a lean period there where he came off at half time in two games but he has played 90 minutes in the last three. I did have a thought about Mirallas yesterday evening but then Martinez gave a quote yesterday evening about him just coming back from injury and taking him off early because of this. I also had Mirallas at the tail end of last season and rotation was a huge issue.

My team for the weekend is:

    Green
    Wisdom Moore Chambers
    Fabregas Hazard Sanchez Siggy
    Costa Aguero Austin
Subs: Elliott, Dummett, Marney, Naylor (suspended).
    2.8 mil banked.

Naylor's suspension has really messed up my plans as I needed to play him. I'm thinking now I'll change Moore for Terry at the cost of a hit. I'm going for Terry because I think he has a goal or two in him and there's less chance of him being rotated over Xmas. Azpi is playing on the wing so he's up and down the pitch and is using more energy. Azpi also has a ready made replacement in Luis. Terry, on the other hand, is vital to Chelsea's organisation and won't use as much energy being a centre half. That said, he is 34 this weekend so there's always a chance.

I do have a feeling that a tough away game like Newcastle away is exactly the match Terry will pop up with a goal in!

Just did Chadli -> Eriksen, as a Spurs fan I think it's time to get on Eriksen. He looks to have finally hit last seasons form.

Sold. I think. I had also been thinking a Terry goal from a set piece against a depleted NUFC defence might be a possibility.

Any advice on who to transfer in? I'm thinking Benteke in for Rooney?

    Forster - Jakupovic

    Baines - Wisdom - Dummett - Duff - Taylor

    Fab - Hazard - Siggy - Chadli - Alrighton

    Augero - Rooney - Bony
