    Funnily enough, I like trying new things, whether or not I've seen them in porn.

    Most of what I've tried (and I've tried a LOT), I didn't try because of porn. I tried things because partners asked. Some I liked, some I didn't. The stuff I didn't like, I didn't do it again.

    For a lot of people, those kind of things are par for the course when having sex, so why shouldn't people who like more than just vanilla sex not be allowed to view porn they'll actually like?

    For the record, I think a lot of the things I like look nasty in porn. But meh, I ENJOY being disrespected and objectified in bed.

    Ultimately, I know my boyfriend loves the bones of me, and outside of the bedroom, is sweet, thoughtful, romantic, gentle and kind. So nope, it's not disrespectful to women. Many of us in loving relationships find it a turn on.

    Sure. And I would have been that age too.

    I don't believe I would have been better off if I was engaging in the more traditional style, ie for reproduction.

    There's actually a big movement now towards porn produced by women for female audiences. That's how the industry will be tempered, not by enforcing arbitrary rules that only apply to a tiny percentage of those in the industry.

    Who said anything about 'vanilla sex'? It's not black and white. I just think there's no harm keeping a more watchful eye on the media that programs the minds of the next generation. There's no set 'human nature' per se, only the norms that we get from society.

    The only nasty and disrespectful thing is trying to stop people enjoying something that all involved parties consent to.

    If my gf comes to me when I'm working, stands beside me and turns around, the only possible disrespectful thing would be to not spank her on the basis that doing what she wants is misogyny. Telling a woman she cant request a good spanking is misogyny not the other way around.
