cant get kinect voice commands to work

    DS got the x box one with kinect today. All set up fine except he cant get the voice commands to work? he has xbox live gold nothing seems to be working out.
    Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

    Try setting location to uk. Voice activation was not initially available to ireland, so people set location to uk where it was working.

    Go into settings,select language and location. Check to see if the spoken language is at either English uk or United States ,

    It's probably not because voice commands aren't yet supported,but just put the spoken language on English uk or us and they should work fine.
