Can I use non IKEA taps on an IKEA basin?

    Has anyone used Irish taps on IKEA bathroom basins...see model below:

    If so, any tips? Do I need any adapters etc? Is the quality any good? If not, any brands that have the same type but good make? Affordable price would be main factor.

    Hi Fuiru, just wondering how you faired out on this? were you able to use other taps in the end?

    I wish someone did get in touch. I ended up just getting a sink from an Irish dealer. Sorry.

    Yes you can mix and match brassware ( taps), with washbasins.
