Here's my 1st draft wildcard thoughts:

    KtQfyWz.jpg?1

Busts got in my head with De Gea and I may have been hasty to consider ditching him now. Panti for 0.4 gives me security of a 2nd starting keeper with decent Xmas fixtures.

A team of 1st choice players is what you want for December and this is what I have got. Mirallas is probably the odd one out but he's one of those players I always dabble with. If Costa becomes necessary I can get him in a transfer or two but I want to try going it alone for a while. Austin and Jedinak rotate quite well home and away too.

The Jan WC will always be there in a month or so anyway.
As an alternative to DDG you could do adrian and panti combo. Gives you these fixtures WBA A Swa H WHAM H Leic H Hull H Villa A WBA H. I know you have Cresswell aswell which could be an issue for you.

2 free transfers. Done Pelle to Bony(which I forgot to do last week, D'oh!) and I might do Costa to Rooney but I want to keep Costa so I don't know if I want to waste 2 transfers this week by selling Costa and getting him back for next weekend.

I'd rather De Gea I'd say, could look at Fabianski but 3 Swans could be sketchy. What you make of the rest of it?

Is it madness brining Rooney in for Costa for GW14 and then transferring them back for GW15?

Did ADM -> Haz before I miss out on any more price changes.

I like it by and large. Id do clyne to alderweld as you are probably going to bench your saints player for half of the next 8 gws. I know you are a fan of mirallas but Id try and leave enough money to trade him up to a 9 million mid like silva or walcott. Martinez loves rotating that front 4. Id probably get collins over cresswell if collins is named in the team tues night. Id also just get boyd over jedinak. I know jedinak has points from pens of late but thats all he really offers. That 2 million saved could get you out of a mirallas problem or a utd attacker for bony if falcao or rooney come good.

Done. No point prolonging it and wasting money. Rooney in for Costa and Fab in for Di Maria.

Carrying a knock. Van Gaal said he hopes he will play and has quoted Rooney as saying he's okay to play on Tuesday. Hope ta f**k he does play!!

Yeah it's certainly not the finished article and there's a few premium options alright that aren't necessary. Not sure on Collins but that's me, I'd see Reid and Tomkins as 1st choice. Not that West Ham defenders are vital anyway. An escape fund in the bank would be useful alright.

At least I don't have too much time to stew over it :pac:

Is anyone considering Oscar? I can afford Cesc, but he's on 4 yellows, and Oscar would bank me some money.

ADM to yaya done, might do another on Tuesday depending on team sheets

Edit - how close is costa to falling?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 452 ✭✭Neoulous

    Who to get for ADM?

Already have 3 Chelsea (Azpi, Fab, Costa) and my midfield is Sanchez-Fab-Siggy-Boyd & ADM.

I'm stuck here. Would love Hazard but not sure it justifies a -4...

    Here's my full team
    Forster Jakupovic
    Azpi Chambers Dummett Wisdom Duff
    Sanchez Fab Siggy ADM Boyd
    Costa Aguero Austin

    Anyone keeping Di Maria?

After the midweek games Utds next match is not until Monday night 8th Dec. for which he may be available again (over a week with minor hamstring injury)

I dont have Rooney and some United cover is preferable, Di Maria is the only midfielder currently worth considering.

Really dunno what to do with my team at the moment!!.

I have 1mil in the bank and 1 free transfer.

Made very little transfers this year but i think team needs one or two changes !.

Costa to Aguero and ADM to Oscar or Eriksen would be my advice.

Even if it's grade one like Baines he'll be out closer to two weeks. Scan tomorrow though apparently if you want more news.

The other thing is his price is plummetting too. Dropped last night, and should drop tonight. If he doesn't drop again this week, he'll more than likely drop twice next week. He should, at a minimum, drop to 9.6 by next Saturday.

    Just did Costa to Bony.
Have a feeling Bony could stay in form for another few weeks so Costa may not be returning for a while.

Just catching up so my tuppence.

I'd agree with de Gea, worth a go they seem to be getting better and not facing many top top front lines now for a while. In fact I'd probably chance a non playing sub.

Defence wise I'm a cheapskate admittedly, but I dunno if its worth keeping Clyne. Alderwiereld could be purchased if and when they look through he worst of the fixtures if you want Southampton cover. Also not sure if Creswell worth the money. I think Chambers love him or hate him is still value for his price for now, and if you keep 0.5 handy Debuchy will still be good value at 5.2 when he gets back. Also maybe a cheaper west ham defender, maybe Sunderland if you didn't have Panti.

Midfield, I agree with the comments that Jedinak maybe not worth the 0.8 over Boyd even for Xmas, especially if you're not flush team value wise. Busts is spot on re Mirallas, by all means have a fumble with your old flame but you need a 9m exit strategy to Silva/Walcott standard. But then I've just saved you about 2m in defence!! :D

Up front is good for now form players wise, but be ready to get Costa back if necessary. I may sell him (immediately after posting this) for RVP but may swap him back in for Hull.

May all be nonsense but that's it, would love a wildcard around about now. Enjoy, but get some sleep. ;)

Good advice there from FHFC.... In fact it got better as it went on. ;)

Make sure to keep a few bob to tip your postman this Christmas folks....because he's going to start delivering again :)

Plus he has a bit of beef with Stoke so he might be worth giving the armband.

The entire brain trust on the eejits committee group are going to end up with RVP by Tuesday aren't we? :(

I'm going to try and fight it but resistance is probably futile!

    @parlance.
In fairness you've been red hot in who to back and who to ditch the last while.

    An Rvp masterstroke....... Hmmmm...
