Yeah I thought of him too. For some reason I'm not convinced by him! Can't put my finger on why - I think I'm not convinced that he won't be rested at some point, even though he's started the last 8.

Seen by and dealt with by the ref at the time of the incident.
They don't review incidents once the ref has, iIrc.

I have ADM and Costa.

O.8M in the bank.

Have two other Chelsea played with Fab and Cahill.
Have Jedinak, Siggy, Wanyama as my other midfielders and Aguero and Pelle up front.

I'd prefer not to take a 4 point hit on getting Costa and ADM out

Any advice?

Watching the highlights of QPR yesterday, I now think Green may be a big mistake. The only saving grace is Krul misses four or five games so I can rotate with Elliott.

My future transfer plans are also stuffed for now. I got Hazard in but for Di Maria so I now have three Chelsea so can't bring in Terry.

I'm not sure what to do with Costa. I don't think a -4 for Rooney is worth it as he could drop deep if Falcao plays midweek. RVP did look good yesterday though. 12.4 is too much however.

The £4.5m goalkeepers are much of a muchness now that Krul is out IMO. They all either have terrible fixtures or play behind terrible defences. Green is still the best of a bad bunch for the next few weeks IMO taking the fixtures into account. Unless you want to go into £5.5m territory there's not a whole lot to play around with for me. Though after Sunderland play away at Anfield on the 6th of December I'll probably get Pantimilon in (WHU, new, HUL).

I'm the same re: Costa. I just don't have a clue what to do with him. If I get rid of him, I'd have to make two moves to get him back in. I can go 4-4-2 midweek starting either Chambers (SOU) or Boyd (NEW) so I'd be happy enough to leave Costa on the bench. I'll probably give him until Boxing Day then with new, HUL, sto, WHU to play before deciding, unless he does something stupid like get sent off (or injured :pac:). In fact, that's what I'll do. The only real options I could see for him are Rooney (runs the risk of playing deeper now with Falcao available as you've mentioned, also fired blanks at home to Palace, Everton and West Ham this season and did nothing at Sunderland and Burnley, so it's not as if he's guaranteed points either) and Bony (I already have Taylor and Sigurdsson so don't want 3 Swansea players in my squad).

I didn't have Costa or DeMaria so did not have those concerns, tis nice to be able to round out the edges of the team.

Been mulling over this for a couple of GWs and would like to hear some opinions;

Long term which combo is better;

Costa and Haz
Costa and Fab
Fab and Haz

Currently have the top one but over the season I'm beginning to think Fab and Haz will collect the most. Also frees up some cash for a different big name striker to go with Aguero.

Thoughts?

Don't be too quick to judge GKs. I mean Krul was an absolute disaster before he got his 3 CS in a row which made him appealing to many.

I've had Haz and Fab for a couple of weeks and will continue to do so. Haz is on pens so I think this combo covers the potential disaster week where Costa scores well. I've no concerns about Costa's hammies and I can bring in strikers depending on form (apart from Aguero who's staying in my front three).

I'm thinking the same re Pantimillon. Will give Green at least these three GWs. I also have Elliott to rotate now as I said.

I agree re Costa. The only players I'd think about bringing in for him are a) Bony - but I have Siggy and b) Rooney - but there are questions over his fitness and his position on the pitch.

I'll go 4-4-2 and hope he doesn't fall too much in value. My cheap defence of Chambers, Naylor, Wisdom and Dummett all have decent enough fixtures.

A lot of people will be taking hits this week with questions over Krul, Duff, Costa and Di Maria, and I'm hoping Baines adds to the madness later.

Yep starts on 17th January. He could miss up to 5 games if Ivory Coast make it to the final.

Presumably you could just use the January wildcard to sort out that issue though.

Doing Bertrand to either Azpi or Terry. Could do with keeping the extra 0.3 by going for Azpi but I'd be worried he might be rotated at Christmas. Is Terry the safest way into their defence?
