can I reuse semi solid wood floor.

    I installed semi solid oak flooring in my living room about 8 yr ago but I'm now thinking of installing some porcelain tiles here and kitchen. What I want to know, can I reuse the semi solid floor again. Its a floating floor with that white spongy gear underneath thou the T&G joints are glued.

    Is there anyway of saving this floor or is it ready for the bin once lifted. TBH, There aint nothing wrong with the floor and if can be used, gona stick it in an old cottage I have if can be reused

    You can try, usually the t&g just breaks up rather than seperate... Depends on the amount of glue used initially..you'll know after first row or two!!! Work your way backwards so the last row put down will be the first you try to lift!

    If it doesn't lift easily you can cut it in sections along the T & G using a skill saw. Then just fit by Gluing and clamping if needed.
