Fury did well. Was completely in control throughout. But Chisora brought very little to the party in the end. His head movement disappeared after about a minute and a half.

Fury's left leg is heavier than Floyd:eek:

Badly scheduled but Excellent as a whole.
Buglioni vs Robinson was a cracker, Walsh vs Sykes was a very good fight, Saunders vs Eubank jnr was a good fight and the main event while anti climatic displayed a fantastic performance from Fury, by far the best of his career.

Gavin vs Skeete was ****e, but we all knew it'd be terrible. Was just annoying to have to sit through it. Mitchell Smith's fight was frustrating too, but he's not normally that bad to watch, just he didn't mesh all that well with his opponent and it wasn't competitive. Both of those fights were higher up the running order than they should have been due to ticket sales.
Mitchell Smith sold 1,500 tickets, and Bradley Skeete sold £70,000 worth !

Not relevant to the Fury card, but the most dominant champion in professional boxing won tonight.
Cecilia Braekhus continuing to do her thing and dominates the women's Welterweight division, holding all 4 main titles and having almost no one who's properly able to test her.

Crawford v Beltran is the most important fight of the night for me.

What do you think of his performances? I haven't seen any visible changes since he went to the Collins. If I was a boxer, I'm not sure I like the idea of training with one trainer then going over to Dublin for a couple of weeks and train with someone else.

tbh I thought it was a weird performance, at times he used lateral movement, kept his hands high and brought his hands back quickly after throwing, parrying shots nicely aswell. But then the majority of the time, he didn't do any of that.
So he looked a lot better, but only in small part of the fight, and for the most part it was same old, same old.

For me it's probably down to exactly what you highlighted, he's training over in London and then when he has a fight announced he goes and does a camp in Dublin. He seems happy with how things are going in Dublin, and he's got good sparring with the likes of Gary O'Sullivan and Luke Keeler, but he's got to spend more time than that for changes to properly sink in imo, too many bad habits that need breaking.

It's a real battle with Buglioni for them to get him to a level that matches his fan base and profile. He's not even up to English title level at the moment for me, but I think if he spends enough time with Pascal he could get to British level in a few years. The problem is keeping him in interesting fights without getting him sparked in the meantime.

Yeah I saw that. I just noticed Cummings on the undercard aswell. A bit peculiar to be fighting in Denmark.

Ya it is a bit strange alright, you'd think they'd just slip him onto one of the smaller Belfast cards that take place regularly enough. I'm sure Barry had to slip Nisse Sauerland a few quid to have him on that card.
He's an excellent prospect though Cummings, arguably the best we have.

I've said from the getgo that Conrad is the future of Irish pro boxing, he has a lovely tight insular style that suits the pros well.

Tyson made that a very easy nights work for himself.

Eubank Jnr gave a great account of himself I felt. Pity about the old man in the corner. If Jnr had nicked two of the opening 6 rounds it was his fight to lose. He finished much much stronger.

There are two great corner men in Sanigar and Ronnie and if he had been taken instruction from the get go he may well have won 8 of rounds.

For me I had it 6 rounds a piece but you can't argue with the result.

I'd love to see a rematch in 12 to 18 months time

Absolute clinic put on by Fury last night, you could see from the first round were it was going to go, should have been stopped way sooner, bit of a disgrace that it was allowed go on that long anyway.

That comment from Hachiko about mayweather beating Fury is the typical clueless fanboy response one would expect hilarious!!
I really hope it was just a wind up though.

Have to give credit to Fury, kept his head and used the jab all night instead of getting into a slugfest like he has done before. Also nice to see him asking the ref to stop the fight when he could have easily finished Chisora.

    Where to now for Fury?

Fight at the end of February then try and then get into the ring with Klitschko asap if nothing is done by May in regards to negotiations will that open him up to mandatory fights for the newly won title I wonder.

Wasn't the greatest night of boxing. I was bored to tears watching the main event. Looking back, it was a smart fight from Fury and a dominant performance from him.

Certainly not the prettiest fight to watch but it was a measured and effective performance.

Enjoyed the Buglioni/Robinson fight. Very entertaining and a lot more competitive than I thought it would be.

Eubank Jr/Saunders was an ok fight but I can't see how one judge scored it for Eubank Jr. He certainly finished stronger but it was too little too late and was losing heavily in my estimation up until the last 4/5 rounds.

Same as myself, I had BJS up by atleast 3 round and that was being failry generous to Eubank. He came on strong in the later rounds but still nowhere near as much to actually win.

Joshua beats Fury right now, never mind a year or two down the line imo.

He's at least ready to try. Joshua doesn't need another year The guy is naturally massive HW who can box and punch. That's pretty much all he needs for Fury. Too much can be made of experience. Experience means F all if Joshua lands clean to Fury's face.

Billy Joe himself said Eubank won 4 of the last 6 rounds with the other two close too call. So even if you gave Billy Joe the first six rounds there's still a decent argument for a draw.

Chisora is muck. The most predictable and repetitive plodder out there. I missed the first 8 rds. Worth my while watching?

    Definitely not.

Feed Chisora to Joshua if Joshua beats Johnson.
Let Wilder and Fury fight for the right to take on Wlad.

One for the purist, if you wanna see Fury put on a masterclass. If it's excitement you want, i really wouldn't bother.

Agree with Too Tough to Die. Last night showed Tyson could stick to the gameplan and handle Chisora with ease. In an interview after the fight Peter Fury said Tyson hadn't trained for the past 3 weeks as he had flu.

I was surprised that Eubank Jnr neglected some many basics and kept looking for the ko uppercut. His inexperience in fighting nobodies did back fire in the end

If they fought now I'd fancy Fury to embarrass Joshua. Joshua is a great prospect but is not near ready to fight anyone notable for another year at least

The more I think about it, the more unimpressed I was by BJS. Much the better boxer and he should've handled Eubank Jr easier. Eubank Jr the bigger man but his technique is quite poor.

I'd nearly be inclined to pick Jorge Heiland over BJS.

Josua would be mad to get into the ring with Tyson. He's still young and learning. Plenty of other decent fights for him. AJ should look to fight Del Boy, price etc. He's barely been hit so far in his career. Interesting times ahead.

Klitchsko will either wait for the outcome of Wilder / Stiverne and if Wilder wins, fight Wilder or Klitschko will fight Bryant Jennings in New York early next year.
