Think a couple of people went for it on Nintendo bargains thread. It's a very good price.

A retail game could be over 6GB, you'd only be able to download one on your machine.

I'd recommend reading the Nintendo bargains thread and learn about getting an external hardrive to expand the memory

    Newest Nintendo home console. It's like ps3 - > ps4, wii - > wii u

And you're a legend for doing so.

I know it has a huge fan base but I had Melee on the gamecube and could never get into it.
Maybe it's a good laugh online.

It comes with its own "tablet" controller which looks kind of like a portable device but there's a main console under the telly as well.

    Sorry Wii Party U.

    My bad

(Nintendo Land comes with it as well though mind you)

Cannot stress how good this console is. Markio Kart 8; Super Mario World 3D and Smash Brothers: you're possibly talking about *the* best three console games of the year. Would keep any kids/family entertained for an age.

I like Nintendo and love those Mario type games, is the Wii U not a dead console though?
Can you get a Mario Party game for it? Like the one that Nintendo 64 had where you play a load of mini games to get around the board game?

U can play 9 for noe but 10 is coming. Games make the console, the wii you is the strongest console game wise.

Thanks lads, I thought I read that Nintendo themselves had confessed that the Wii U was a failure for them and therefore didnt expect any new games really.

Wii U may not have had the wave of success the Wii had, but you can be 100% sure they are not going to give up on it. In fact the DS Lite is a great example of breathing new life into a console with a dismal outlook in its first year and then went on to be the best selling handheld of all time. Nintendo will keep pumping games out for the Wii U, of that you can be sure

Plus Nintendo are still absolutely loaded cause of the success of the Wii and DS.

(at one stage during the height of the wii they overtook apple as the world's most valuable company)

They still have plenty of reserves to weather the storm

Ordered thanks. There's so many amazing Wii U games. Nintendo have really dropped the ball marketing wise with this console considering how many great games are on there. I can almost guarantee anyone would get more enjoyment with this console than any of the other new ones.

    Went ahead and ordered.
Never had the Wii (as it didn't have hdmi) so looking forward to playing all the games I've missed such as the Mario galaxy games, skyward sword, and so on.

How do the original Wii games look on a hdtv?
