I once pulled a Lord of the Rings trilogy, extended edition in one day. I was bedridden with the flu.

I know of people who did entire tv series in a weekend.

    What was your biggest binge?

I binge watch most TV shows. Watching a Game of Thrones season in a day was probably my biggest binge.

The whole Harry Potter over two days was a great laugh. When I was sick last Winter I watched 6 seasons of Geordie Shore in the space of a week.

Binged on Brooklyn 9-9 over the last couple of days. Not too bad.

Planning a binge of Black Sails and Orange is the New Black soon.

Quit my job recently and they're letting me sit out my notice at home.

Been binging on House and am nearly at the end of Season 2.

I feel like binge- watching tv shows is the only way to watch them!

Watched 2 1/2 series of Game of Thrones in less than 2 weeks. Got withdrawl symptoms once I had caught up and was a long week waiting for the next episode. :D

I have watched all Eastenders episodes up until 1993, back to back...I don't like the look of these Mitchell brothers...I fear trouble is a brewing!

Nope never. I'm too lazy to do that.

oh only all the time :o

I've binge watched so many tv series, I watch my favourite ones multiple times. Modern tv series are just too good, they have a lot more re-watch value than movies, I always rewatch to pick up on stuff I missed.

I keep thinking there has to be tons of brilliant movies I've never seen but whenever I search I can't find anything I haven't seen :/

Not following much at the minute other than TWD, need a new tv series, what are you all watching?

I love binge watching shows but then when you get to the end it's absolute torture waiting for new episodes. I binge watched bones over about 3-4 weeks last year. Also game of thrones. 9 episodes of season 2 in one day was unreal. About 3 episodes in I paused to put on some dinner. Put a bag of rice in the saucepan of water. Cue over an hour later the most putrid smell of plastic burning to a saucepan ever. Now a takeaway delivery is the only option when binge watching programmes!

Me and my very hungover girlfriend did season 2 of breaking bad in one day. We only stopped for burritos.

I prefer to wait until a series is over and then binge watch it. I just don't have the patience or attention span for waiting a whole week for the next installment :(

Favourite binge so far was season 3 of The Wire which I completed over a lazy Saturday and Sunday :D

Binge watched all three series of The Killing (Danish version not American). Watched the first series (20 1 hour episodes) over 3 days during the Christmas holidays 2 years ago. Did the same with Borgen and The Bridge and a few other Scandinavian series.

Binged on all of the Breaking Bad series.

Very easy to binge on a good tv show, battlestar galactica, the west wing, the wire, I've 9 episodes left for season 5 of breaking bad, I'll do it easy in 2 nights I think, sad it's gonna be over tho

It took me a year to watch the first 5 episodes of The Wire. It took me less than a three weeks to watch the next 4 and a half seasons.

I only started watching Parks and Rec in August, now I've caught up to season 6.

Watched all 10 episodes of season 4 of the wire on a day I pulled a sickie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,434 ✭✭✭Robsweezie

pulled all nighters to watch series 1-4 of walking dead, including featurettes, deleted scenes and audio commentaries. torrented season 4 then bought it on DVD and watched it again all the way through with all the bonus extras. its the kind of show that just sucks you in very quickly.

waiting for weekly eps is a killer, but then if you decide to binge watch post-series then you're gonna have to dodge all spoilers until its finished, easier said then done :0

    Steins;Gate!

It's about time travel, dude builds a time machine out of a microwave, but that's all I'll say. Go into knowing as little as possible, and seriously beware of spoilers, but it's honestly one of the best things ever.

There's a movie festival I go to each year, 10-12 movies over 2 days. Have to bring a packed lunch as there isn't even time between movies to grab food somewhere.

Currently binging on Aussie crime drama Underbelly.

It's about organised crime in different cities (Melbourne and Sydney mostly) in various periods of time of several years each season. Very good. There are 6 seasons made so far.

I watched seasons one and two in the last - must be a week or so - and currently tucking into season 3.

Quality series, they also did 3 TV movies as well. The one about the dude that escapes from the Thai prison is good.

I watched Peter Jackson's King Kong in one go a few weeks ago. Four fukking hours with ads. That was a binge.

Pre-kids, my wife and I often watched Six Feet Under five or six episodes at a time with supping away on wine. It used to take us into 4 or 5 in the morning. We'd often have to watch the last one or two episodes again on our next sitting. Possibly the best tv series ever made.
