Who here does not have a facebook and why?

    Hi.



    I have been trying to use mine less recently.


    I was a bit of a FB whore. I was just wondering how many people don't have one.

    If you had one how do you find not having one?

    Do you find you are out of the loop?

    Do you look on us FBers with scorn now?

    I'm absolutely fine.

    That's true actually. There is one girl I know who never went to Uni who put Trinity.

    I got my degree from an NUI accredited college. But she can out do me on FB!

    I am actually suspicious as to whether she did her leaving at all.
    Gosh that's petty!


    She's a lovely girl!. :-P

    i'd be lost without facebook, it's where my real, normal friends who I'd go for pints with are.

    it's only weirdos on twitter, boards.ie, ello (lol) etc

    Yes most of my friends are the type to post mad political rants. I am too occasionally.

    My brother's FB is fascinating. It's more substantial stuff.

    Sick of peoples bullshìt and having to post my own bullshìt. I can meet the worthwhile people without it and, if I can't, they musn't be worth my while.

    It's honestly a relief to get out of it. Quit 4 months ago-ish.

    I'm not on it. Just too lazy really. Never set one up, then saw how it got my mates in trouble with drunken messages to the ladies so steered clear as I definitely would have ****ed up.

    Delighted I never had one now, I'm not one for putting photos of myself all over the internet. Well not of my face anyway ",

    I used to use Facebook. Great for keeping up with family away. But then I stopped because I had to wade through tons of the "you will be amazed what happened next" articles and "watch this baby elephant sneeze" videos to see maybe one photo that interested me.

    No matter how many people I deleted or times I said I don't want to see posts like this they were still there

    Now I ring and email.

    I only keep it in order to stay in touch with friends and family abroad. Though even that is not enough these day...I'm seriously thinking of ditching it. Or using it less and less.

    Is it just me or does anyone else find themselves coming to seriously question why you're friends with some people after reading the ****e they post on facebook?

    I'm not on Facebook and never have been ........ for a few reasons, the main one being I've never heard of a good reason to need to use it???

    F/book-debateable,personally its the greatest waste of time ever,its a drain actually,home page forever inundated with bullsxxt updates&the like, then there's the 500 pics of a night out in the arsehole end of nowhere and so on
