    It makes an old fashioned alarm clock noise and it's VERY loud. The neighbours say they can sometimes hear it. Or sometimes it's the dog at five in the morning :-/

    I have heard you can get these lamps that are set to act like a dawn and wake you up more I have always wanted to try and find one.

    I actually have no idea what it's like at all. I wake up to it at least 5 mornings every week but haven't got the slightest clue what it is!

    Dawn waves. Gently wakes me, unlike my previous alarm with a piercing sound . Nearly smashed the phone a couple of times.

    A Mini Dachshund. They are known for being very vocal dogs and tend to bark more than other breeds. And he is very loud! It's great because he makes a great watchdog! :-)

    My alarm is Ivan Yates bitching about something that happened the day before, and Chris Donoghue acting like an embarrassed son who has just heard his father fart in public. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

    Mine is a combination of the two. Philips dawn light radio alarm clock. Best alarm clock ever.
    None of that fumbling in the dark looking for snooze.

    Someone once kindly decided to change it for me to an angry Mexican shouting....."wake up or I'll kiiiiillllll youuuuu!" Nearly took the senses out of me with the fright!!

    my relatively new phone had to brought in for repairs the other day so they gave me some tatty old thing to use until I get mine back. I just realised I have to set the alarm on it now. I'll check out the sounds and report back asap.

    I don't know why, but this made me laugh a lot!

    Mine is 'Silk" on the iPhone and it is the most soothing alarm I have ever had.
