Two things really struck me about these stats:

    1. ADM has scored just an average of 5 points per game since I bought him in GW6. (the same ppg in that period as Wanyama!!!)
He’s 10th on my list when sorted by ppg played.
That cannot be considered as value for money in any way, make, shape or form. If he’s confirmed out this week he’ll probably have played his last game for me for a while.

    2. Wanyama has scored 33 points while sat on my bench. Ouch.

Very cool stats, so it looks like the 3-4-3 has worked out better for me and I'm surprised I haven't changed captain more.

Hell yeah, I'd consider a wildcard to get them out of my team;)

It appears that this is shaping up to be quite a tough week, especially in defence. Plenty of yellow flags and some confirmed absences already, with other popular players facing difficult games.

It looks like this could be another week like GW8 in which having a decent bench could prove pivotal.

Yeah I think I've decided to take this opportunity to improve/sort out my bench. Need to do it anyway for the christmas. Will get rid of Moore, and bring in someone that plays and ideal has decent fixtures over the Christmas. Maybe Neil Taylor.

Have been busy with work and haven't checked in here in what seems like an age... probably 48hours :o

Was very happy with the Baines injury doubt a few days ago, then I log into my team and see my Seamie is also yellow flagged... bugger that.
I've done a quick search through all the threads but am none the wiser about my doubtful trio:

    Anyone got any info on
    Coleman
    Downing
    Welbeck

From what I see Coleman and Welbeck are probably ok but there's a little more doubt over Downing?

@elldubya1: @BenDinnery Sorry if you have already answered this. Have I got it correct: Baines - unlikely, cesc - yes, welbeck - probs, downing - no???
@BenDinnery: @elldubya1 Pretty much spot on mate

    And another exchange re Coleman:

@AdrianLRiley: @BenDinnery Thank you, one last bit of harassment from me ;) the following expected?
    Coleman- fit
    Fabregas- fit
    Baines- not
    Sakho- not
@BenDinnery: @AdrianLRiley Pretty much Adrian if you wanted a definitive on each player -- Baines & Coleman are slightly tarnished off-white grey areas

Curse and a blessing since I check it constantly now.

He just put up a tweet saying Sakho, Downing, and Valencia all out for tomorrow although he attributes it to @whustuff which don't have anything themselves

    Right.

    So Downing is out.
    Baines very doubtful.
    Fab OK.

What about Wilson (Stoke). He's now orange flagged with 25% chance of playing... I may have to make transfers this week. This is ruining my mid-term masterplan :(...

Jump on the Isla Bus with me

Clyne->Isla is my next gameweeks transfer bar something else jumping out at me

So you're implying Wilson is out :P? Burnley at home so would love if he played.

Yeah Isla is a player I highly rate but a fantasy player I still have doubts about... I guess playing for QPR doesn't help... But I was expecting him to get much more attacking returns (only 1 assist so far). I remember his Udinese years and he was such a threat going forward!

Well QPR are showing decent form and Isla has looked very good, of their defenders by far their best attacking threat from open play (Caulker obv a threat from set pieces), fixtures pretty kind right up to the new year as already pointed out

dunno re. Wilson playing tomorrow (or not) ! but regardless i reckon Isla is a decent bet for the next while

quick bit of research there discovered Isla assisted 2 of Chile's goals in their 5-0 victory against Venezuela just gone :)

Regarding Wilson, Hughes says on the Stoke site that he is the one big doubt. Indicates that the availability of replacements means he may not be risked.

On MOTD it looked like a hamstring pull while running. Two weeks would be a very good recovery id say but PL players now can recover very quickly these days.
