Quick Question on (Nearly) New Opel Warranty Transfer?

Hi There,

I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand, low mileage, 141 model Opel from a non Opel dealer.

New opels come with a 5 year warranty.

Can anyone confirm that this warranty will apply even though I'll be the second owner.

The garage says it will be fine, just wanted a second opinion before going ahead with it.

Yes it will, nothing to worry about once you keep to the service schedule.

Kinda off topic. But Vauxhall I'm the UK quietly dropped its lifetime warranty last month

Wasn't that the non-transferable warranty ? Felt sorry for 2nd hand buyers who bought 6 to 12 month old cars...they would have been better off buying new just to get the warranty

Yes wasn't really a proper lifetime warranty either, only applied to the initial owner.

Yeah, a lot of vauxhall sales in the UK are PCP/company anyway and wouldn't benefit from the warranty.
