Michael Lowry, Mattie McGrath and now this fvckwit whose name I don't know.......

.........I'd say it's time we stopped giving Tipperary the right to vote.

Can we charter a plane to Iraq so he can get a first hand glimpse of who Isis are and how he can 'deal with them'?

Send the IRA's South Armagh brigade in to sort them out

Seriously how do these moron get into these places of power. Does he even have a clue what a socialist is? If this mans ideas rule this country than god save Ireland because he would cause a revolution, probably a very bloody one.

He's the type of reason I'm confident we (Sinn fein) can form the next government.

To think that this clown Noel Coonan is an elected TD is farcical.

But what has it got to do with irish water, has ISIS issued a fatwa on them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 368 ✭✭Putinovsky

I don't think he was comparing them to ISIS.

He's popular around Templemore & Roscrea

Alan Kelly, Michael Lowry & Noel Coonan, do North Tipp hold the record on returning fools to the Dáil :o

    Not a completely invalid comparison.

There was a thread earlier about an IQ test to be eligible to vote. However I think there should be some sort of test to be a TD:

    • IQ
    • World affairs
    • Irish history/consitution
    • Geography
    • Economics
    • Maths
    • English
    • Other optional modules

They are on there way for the 10th December protests. Instead of taking the new road I hear they are taking the road around by Southern Yemen.:pac:

Sometimes you do have to wonder whether Father Ted was a fictional comedy or a real life Irish documentary:o

    Very much gritty realism!

The Irish Times are actually reporting it as if its a genuine serious threat.

*and apparently Dubs are all parasites and we live off the country people

    It's true

Before the water meters came in ye Dubs wanted to take water from the Shannon, hands off! :pac:

I don't think so,they are not that foolish

    Times...

"A Fine Gael TD has claimed the State is facing “what is potentially an Isis situation” if anti-water charge protesters are allowed to continue with their demonstrations.
Speaking in the Dáil on a motion on water sector reforms, Tipperary North deputy Noel Coonan said some of the protesters in Dublin wanted to “act like parasites” and “live off country people” who had paid for their water over the years."

I don't know who should be more embarrassed, the TD or the people that voted for him.

Paul Murphy's crew made an attack on Government.
I know a lot less extreme than ISIS,but you could see his thinking albeit mad as a brush.

Coonan from TIPP.... THE same county that gave us Lowry, and we all know what he was doing... feathering the nest

Standing in front of a car isn't a less extreme version kidnapping and beheading aide workers. Honestly if people can't see that then there's no helping them.

Joan Burton got inconvenienced for a while, had an egg thrown at her. Disgusting I agree, protests should be peaceful at all times, they've shown they can and are working.

Isis however, among many barbaric pastimes they partake, one is cutting the heads of civilians, and innocent aid workers.

    So, eh no I couldn't.

He's dead right, lets take away the peoples right to protest  What's he suggesting I wonder? martial law perhaps? Is that what the comparison to ISIS was about? Is he saying that the Irish people should be executed if they protest? I really can't understand that thick accent... It comes across as though he's threatening protestors

Doesn't actually scare you that this man, and many other like him can have such control over our lives?

    Madness.

What the hell was he talking about? Is Paul Murphy in ISIS?

I have to agree with him about Paul Murphy & Co's carry on last weekend - disgraceful . . .

I wonder would ISIS pay their water charges?
