    Pathetic...simply pathetic.

Are you a man or a self-obsessed teenage girl?
I tried to grow a beard = I grew it until part of it became ginger, at which time I shaved it.

Yes, I am a teenage girl who grows ginger facial hair. why not.

Why did you shave it off when you saw ginger?

What kind of messed-up phenomenon is this among the Irish male?

Sorry OP don't rope the rest of us into it. You're clearly some sort of unfortunate mongrel crossbreed.

I opened this thread wondering what on earth a ginger bread problem could be.

I like ginger beards but I hate ginger beer. Even patchy ginger beards are better than ginger beer.

Ginger ale is good with gin and whiskey, ginger hair (anywhere) is fun!

Ktf, but mine's patchy anyway so never let it grow long enough to bring out the ginger

Run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbeard man.

    Epic catchphrase.

Has no one in Ireland heard of Just For Men beard dye?

    http://www.justformen.com/products/mustache-and-beard/?shade=medium-brown

Note there is no ginger option in Just for Men, it's like a cruel presumption that the gingers will be relieved to be going grey and would prefer to proudly wear the ravages of time than their natural facial hair colour. :(

Lol @ dying a beard, I'd rather be ginger or grey

Nowt wrong with ginger beards at all, sure I've got one myself. Its like a portion of the people in this country has some strange fascination that ginger = wrong!

As to the dying your beard option...why bother? Utilise what you have.

One day you'll find a grey hair in your beard OP, it's all downhill from there.

Get the **** over it, ita just a hair colour.

My beard has about 3 different colours scattered throughout it. One of which is ginger. Despite the fact I've never had a hint of ginger anywhere else on my body.

That's what I'd expect you to say

Of course I am not "for real". Of course I was not physically sick. I don't even find ginger jokes particularly funny, they're only funny for the ridiculous over-reactions they attract. Ginger snaps, if you will.

Like I said, I would have started this thread if I had a random blonde or white patch too. I already mentioned I get natural blonde highlights in my fringe in summer, and that annoys me too. Stop being so sensitive. Technically I'm one of you, for christ's sake.

I'd sooner believe you are a hirsute teenage girl because I don't know men who worry about the colour of their beard or freak out about it. It's usually women who obsess and get upset about these kind of things...

I would have said that regardless of what hair colour i have or what colour you have in your beard.

Why bother shaving it off because its a different colour to the rest?? If it was blonde, black, brown, green, blue?! Its a hair colour!!

Thats my point, its a hair colour, im not saying it coz i have red hair.

OK. Then go ahead. I don't know why you need to inform me that you want to believe I'm a teenage girl. Move on.

A pal told me that Irish American couples seeking a sperm donor in the US often ask for a red haired donor when vetting potential donors because of the cachet of red hair in America for people of Irish origin.

I think red headed men are very attractive.

The gingerness is localised in one specific area of my otherwise normal face.

mine is 'localized' on my upper lip,the hair comes out dark with ginger tips.I have black hair and a dark complexion, but my ma's family are all red so its obviously coming from there.I count my blessings that its only a small patch that i always shave anyway, and not the whole nine yards. For a time in my late teens/early twenties I sported a strange goatee type thing,I thought it was the bees knees, but when I see old photos i can understand now why people gave me grief over it,i looked like a complete pr1ck.

    I like ginger bread...

As for ginger beards, I don't care, sometimes there is a ginger look if I let myself go unshaven and I don't have ginger hair.

But I wish this was about gingerbread, hard to find really good ginger bread unless homemade.

I have streaks of ginger in my beard too, I like it, I have ginger/golden cheeks, black side burns and chin with a streak of white coming in down the centre of the chin. I think patterned beards look much better than a boring one colour beard. It makes it easier for us to be identified in the wild.

Live in Ireland, deny knowing any gingers. Sure.

Also, the highest scoring guys in the beard championships have ginger beards. You're just jealous you're not full ginger like me, meaning less ladies want to ride your face. Sorry, Conor.

Beard Championships? Beard Championship? A championship for beards? How has no one picked up on this comment?

Imagine all those ginger beards congregating together like that, doing ginger beard things. Disgusting.
