Cheapest house in Ireland

    OK I'm bored, so I did a search of MyHome.ie for the cheapest house in Ireland (under €50,000 and it has to have a roof) by county.

    Here are the results:

    My God, I planned to never own a home in Ireland due to the cost (mainly). I can reconsider now. Just bring down the insurance prices and I can afford to live here.

    You'd have to put in another 50k to make them livable & also theyre probably miles away from nearest big town.
    Also there is one or two there........you're paying for a site, because the cottages are so old, its better knock them.

    It wouldn't take that much to make a house liveable. As long as it has a good roof, windows, minimum damp, - a couple of grand would make any of these OK to live in. Surely?
