Actually I've managed to achieve the zero goals target established by Liverpool's forwards within far fewer games.

    OwaynOTT: 0 games, 0 goals
    Balotelli: 9 games, 0 goals
    Borini: 4 games, 0 goals
    Lambert: 9 games, 0 goals

Last year, the tactics were - we will score more than youse.
This season, the tactics are - we hope ye will score more own goals than what we will inevitably concede.

I think the problem with The Rodgers tactics, is that he needs to find a balance between the two approaches.

Inter would be a great move for Gerrard. Seem to remember Beckham doing quite well with AC when he went over there, despite his legs being gone.

In a swap deal for Medel and maybe Mancini will take Balotelli back home to Inter with him.

I wouldn't hold it against Gerrard if he did move but I don't see this coming to fruition.

I wouldnt hold it against him at all either and if serie A suited him and he got a few GOOD years out of it id be dlighted
I think after all he has done for liverpool it'd hard to begrudge him continued sucess

    Babel cashing in on "YNWA".

Ryan Babel may have been hit-and-miss in a Liverpool FC shirt, but he's now attempting to be bang-on-trend with Reds fans - by releasing a clothing range called 'YNWA'.

Been linked with Maxi Perreira. Could be a decent cheap signing a no nonsense full back.

Very short term solution, but if it pushes Johnson down the pecking order there is not going to be many fans complaining.

Surely it's about time we were linked with a no-nonsense midfielder.

In the 5/6 transfer windows Rodgers has had he has shown no interest in getting one.

Sadly I don't see that changing.

Isn't that the lad that tried to absolutely shatter Joel Campbell at the WC? Got a red for it too IIRC.

Lovren on the bench tonight, Origi led the line for Belgium, didn't see that much of it. Allen scrapped manfully for Wales and took an elbow from Felliani (who else?)

Old target Martin Montoya linked for January, anyone know how he is doing since moving to Barca?

The follow through was filth. That's as good as he has in his locker tbf. Nothing player. Sore one for Allen!

We've escaped the first round of matches without major injuries I think.

I can see him doing a David James. Injuring his back reaching for the remote control. :pac:

I don't think it was intentional this time but you can never be sure with him.

Fellaini is such a dirtbag, all he does is lead with that club of an elbow.

    Bloody hell

Allen ran full pelt in to him, what else would you expect?

Literally nothing Fellaini did wrong initially, I will look again to check a "follow through" but this is a load of cock about nothing tbh

Allen ran full steam in to him, he comes up to Fellainis forearm in height, what else was gonna happen?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Accident or not Fellaini has a history of leading with elbow for years now.

This is something that needs to be taken out of his game by coaching or by fines from both his club & country managers.

That enough follow through for you?

Even in this video which tries to paint it one way you can see Fellaini has his eyes on the ball, gets to the ball first and Allen, running at full steam just clatters in to him.

Serious amount of bull**** over a nothing incident, unfortunate of course, but when you are a 5'6 short arse and run into a 6'4 man from the side you may in fact run into his arm
