Reverse parking is more economical. When starting the car cold and putting it into reverse, it uses more power and fuel that taking off in first gear.
Secondly, if you get into an accident reversing out of a parking space, you are at fault. Going straight out doesn't make it your fault......I'm open to correction on the second one though

Getting an old fake eyelash stuck to my hand accidentally, and nearly dropping dead with the fright because for a split second I thought it was a spider.

    Stupid texting on touch screen.

Sleezy married men. Actually all men who think you should be flattered they'd consider giving you a poke.

Still prefer the American concept of 45 degree bays either side of a one way feeder road, so much easier and safer to get in and out of, and why is it that planners of car parks at retail parks insist on having the heaviest traffic volumes driving past the store entrances?

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

The photoshopping is the least bad thing in that photo.

My only rants for the day.

Pregnant women asking ridiculous questions in ridiculous places. I joined a Facebook group for a specific purpose, and I see this morning some simpleton had asked "Can I use a sleeping blanket when pregnant?" Wtf. I commented asking if google doesn't work on her computer so no doubt ill get torrents of abuse from all the Hope Ur Ok Hun xx types.

That man, the old man, that finally passed away even though his daughter announced his death two weeks before it happened, littered the Facebook with photos of him in a coma, and dying, is really really well known in a particular community all over the us. He was 93 or 94, and was an ambassador for that community and his followers are like a cult, real hardcore.
Anyway, last night (not 24 hrs after he died) they announced that there's a "memorial fund" for his wife. To say I'm disgusted is an under statement. Since when is a bereavement a time to make a profit? And before you think maybe she has no money, they have made so much money from sales of the book he wrote (and has sold out since he died), documentaries, tv shows ect. They've 9 kids, one is in a band, one poses with her Rolex watch, one is an artist who's doing quite well , one works on the set of movies as security or whatever. Like they're not a broke family, that's why I can't understand why it's "kerchiiiiing!" And the man not even cold yet. I was going to send flowers but no ****in way now

Is one of the granddaughters an aspiring rapper/singer type? Because I've seen some odd posts on FB from a girl with lots of photos of her dying/dead grandfather.
I havnt really looked at them in any details, I just skip over that stuff that is not directly affecting me.

The random and totally disjointed press statements that "shocked locals" make after some atrocity happens in their "sleepy community". Is it bad journalism or are they interviewing simpletons?

"It's terrible. He was a nice young lad. We knew the mother. The town is saddened. He was a bright boy. We just heard this morning. He was on the local basketball team. His mother is a good woman. He started school here last year."

The amount of mud running off the rail bridge works around the corner from me, it is absolutely fcuking disgusting and there is literally no other way to get to the tube apart from walking straight past it. I will happily kick in the nutsack whoever decided that doing this through the autumn was a good idea.

Another one I love is "I didn't even know he was sick, ah I was very fond of him".

I've lost count of how many times that was said to me and it makes me so mad. My dad was sick for 13 months. In 13 months you didn't notice the 6 stone weight loss? Or the fact he aged about 20 years? And you missed him being bald as an egg?? Not so fond of him to not see him even once in 13 months and then have the sheer audacity to stop me to tell me you didn't realise he was sick

Trying to buy a pair of shoes and you'd swear to god it was the Crown Jewels I was trying to get my hands on. I had to call twice yesterday, and the pair were on reserve for another person until last night. I called at like two minutes to six and they hadnt picked them up. She took my name and number and told me I would be next on the list, but no word. She also suggested I get the size smaller because they had that one left, but I don't think it'll fit and I can't go try them
on because I'm wearing my work shoes and I'd be mortified walking into a nice shoe room in them.

Since when did spending money become such an effort

In the pourings of rain this morning myself and another woman were both heading towards the same ATM from different directions. She gets there a split second before me - fair enough. I had my card in my hand ready to go before I got there. She on the other hand, proceeds to plonk her massive bag on top of the keypad so she could root around for her card. She's yanking thing out and searches through TWO different wallets before she finds the card. The amount of time she then spent on her transaction, I can only surmise she was attempting to apply for a mortage or bring down the stock exchange.

Genuninely, if I had been her I would have suggested to the person waiting that they go ahead of me while I located my card. And not even a little nod of the head or a tiny smile to me to acknowledge what a geebag she is!

When you tell someone you finish a task at a certain time, but they keep asking how you're getting on before the expected finish time.

Now that's a trivial thing that annoys me! Mortified? You are the customer. Your work shoes are good enough for work then they are good enough to walk into a shoe shop. I'm just torn on who is the more snobbish here - the shop or the customer. I detest pretension. Should I dress to the nines to go out to buy a pair of trousers? Am I good enough to frequent a particular store? Aaaaaagggh!

Trust me, I am not snobby. I would just feel terrible walking in there in a uniform and a pair of pumps from pennies. I buy my makeup from the same shop and I find the more "serious" you look, the nicer they are to you initially.

Does it not speak volumes about the establishment if they treat you better based on how you look? Why would you want to leave any money there?

    Because I need the shoes

That's my point. The shop is pretentious. Why would anybody support such an establishment? I enjoy if I am in a store and realise their attitude is snobbish. Then I have a good look at a few products and decide by they are not good enough for us. There are shops I can very well afford to buy in but I refuse to use them because of their pretensions. Others I use are top flight shops but don't care what you wear as long as you will buy from them - my kind of store. But I still think nobody should avoid going to a shop because of what the "staff" might think of your appearance. Only going in when you think you meet their standards is only feeding their bias.

I would either do without the shoes if I felt demanded by the store or go and get them just how I am and to heck with what they might think I look like. They are only people in a shop. What does their opinion of you matter as long as you buy and keep them in a job? It's no it as though you have to live with them. They are strangers.
